Very well located hotel on South Beach, easy access walking to the beach and to restaurants. Pool are is very nice, food and drinks are excellent. Special shout out to Ciara, bartender, server, and good conversationalist.

The property is not bad, but needs some love and care on the inside. The exterior amenities of the hotel are excellent – great pool and outdoor area. The flooring in my room was in dire need of replacement (cracked/broken pieces, spongy in spots, huge gaps). The shower took a full 5 minutes to warm up and there was a consistent flow of bugs coming from the sink and shower drains. Beds left much to be desired. At the price point and with the sheer number of hotels in the area, I don’t think this property is competitive.

We loved the pool & grounds and the location was fantastic. Th staff at the pool, pool bar, bellman & room cleaner were awesome & very friendly yet the front desk staff were rude. We almost left in spite of losing the cost of 4 nights pre-paid when we first saw the room. It appears updated and nice in pics, but it’s still very dated and felt almost like a hostel with a weird open closet area, very uncomfortable beds & cheap decor on the walls that didn’t go with anything else. Every room has very noisy old window a/c units that rattle (not shown in any pics) & the hallways are especially dated with old worn red carpet, etc. Not what we were expecting based on the pics. We stayed and ended up having a great time, we loved the grounds so we just stayed away from our room until we were exhausted enough to go right to sleep.

I stayed at Marseilles for 5 nights with my family. It is a family oriented hotel. The staff is very nice (I don't know why some people complained about it in their reviews). It is right by the beach and they provide you two lounge chairs and umbrella every day. Happy hour drinks are a must ($1 for cocktails!!). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I definitely recommend it!

We loved our stay at Marseilles. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was gorgeous, and it was great having direct access to the beach. We ate lunch & breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant & it was delicious. The only negative is all of the construction noise next door to the hotel, but obviously that can’t be controlled.

The property itself was beautiful, right off the beach. Ah-mazing place! Room was perfect EXCEPT for the elevator noise. Do not stay next to them if u dont have to. Annoying as all get out but it was spring break so not much choice for me but seriously bout sent me thru the roof & when i talked to front desk they acted like nobodys ever complained about it. Told em to go spend 10 minutes in the room & they'd know sure they haven't other than that beyond beautiful & happy hour was $1tip free drinks inside & outside bars so back & forth i went beach chair & umbrella also complimentary with stay parking is available but not visible dont know cost since I paid for parking before checking in cuz u cant see a lot or anything kind of ripped on that 1 good stay good price good times
