Fish called Avalon is a must do when staying in Miami. Breakfast outside was always a fantastic way to start the day. Service is top notch whether at the bar, restaurant or front desk

Great hotel and location

Great hotel, top spot for restaurants and beach access. The hotel restaurant is one of the best around. Rooms are quite old and very small though. We will go back!

This hotel was wonderful. Great location, beach access with beach chairs and towels available. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were cozy and clean. Breakfast was exceptional and well priced for hotel guests. Really loved the water refill station on the floors to reuse the aluminum bottles provided in the room. Wish we could've stayed longer!

Being retired I was a bit nervous about staying in South Beach, as I had never been there before. The Avalon is a true gem! My husband and I loved it ! The hotel is adorable, clean and right at the boardwalk and beach. The staff were all amazing and accommodating. The beach was so clean and beautiful and there were so many great restaurants right there. The police presence at the beach and night life made us feel very safe. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Everyone at the Avalon was so very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a classic art deco building in the middle of the action on Ocean Drive. They have an amazing breakfast, and dinner there was also great. They create such a nice ambience on the front terrace. They were very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again!

Friendly, classic deco hotel on the beach

Classic example of a south beach deco hotel. What it lacks in modern amenities it more than makes up for in character and aesthetic. The location was brilliant and across the street from the beach. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

We had a beautiful stay at the Avalon Hotel. Every member of the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Very convenient location close to fantastic restaurants and the beach. Hotel offers beach towels and beach chairs to take with you to the beach! Just a quick jaunt across the street to wonderful south beach! Highly recommended.
