"Close to the downtown Riverwalk area and very walkable. The property seems older and the elevator wasn’t reliable. We had to walk from the 6th floor to the 5th floor because it continually skipped the 5th floor. "

"1st time visitors to San Antonio. The hotel is perfectly located to the River Walk & The Alamo, and very walkable. Our biggest complaint is with the room temperature. It was very warm & made sleeping and getting ready in a ventless bathroom quite uncomfortable. "

"Overall, I liked the old historic feel, but when I first went into my room, I noticed a half-eaten strawberry on the floor by the bed that housekeeping must have missed. The front desk could have shown better customer service; neither lady that worked there when I arrived seemed very unhappy and just very cold to me. The valet Manager and valets though were very helpful"

"Reserved a king suite but had to downgrade to a two queen suite. Room had two queen beds with nightstand only between beds. Nothing on the other sides. Clock that you couldn’t correct the time on and One dirty stuffed chair with ottoman. One desk with chair. Bench to sit suitcases on and full kitchen but no table and chairs. Room seemed small and exterior windows were very dirty. Bathroom shower door was broken on arrival but repaired the next morning. Checkin was slow and the staff didn’t even know where the ice machine was. She did her best and called and ask someone(on every floor). Breakfast was average with eggs and sausage everyday. Breakfast staff (Seth) was great. Rooftop bar has very little seating if you are not dining and a small menu. Location is great. One block to the Riverwalk and just a few blocks to Market Square. We would definitely stay here again. Micheal was always pleasant and seemed to be every where. "
