Romantic Hotels in Gardere, LA

"Very convenient location in Baton Rouge. I think this hotel is an incredible bargain for families with children. Huge breakfast buffet in the morning and then an afternoon "happy hour" complete with food for all ages. I did not use the swimming pool but saw many people using it. I would definitely recommend staying here. "

"The upgrades are nice. It’s still a process to completion. The staff was awesome super friendly. 10 out 10. The only & main concern is the parking garage they use if you don’t valet. The walk is not bad but at night the area to pass is very sketchy especially coming from the casino or parking garage at night there’s a lot of transients in the area. I suggest don’t walk by yourself after dark females & males. By the way valet is $33 a day. Ridiculous!"

"The only good thing about this hotel is that it is walking distance to the casino and a symposium I attended. Unfortunately it need some major renovations. & upgrades. It’s the same exact way from 2012! At least remove the musty carpets or hideous drapes, poor lighting it just didn’t make any sense especially at $200 a night! For some odd reason they have an old broken dressers & cedar chest in the room, I would never put my clothes in there. The Nightstand & table dusty & dirty, I’m so glad I packed Lysol wipes. The saddest part if you want a mini fridge you have to RENT it, talk about tacky."
