Daiichi Hotel Tokyo
"I stayed at the hotel for 11 days and I booked a premier room, which had lounge and gym access included. The lounge facility is superb from 8 a.m. till 9 p.m. You have access to a full range of champagne, spirits, and beers, as well as snacks, afternoon tea, and canapes in the evening. In addition you have free use of the gym and pool in the adjacent building complex. The hotel is very well located near to Shimbashi Station, which has good links to all of the areas around Tokyo. It is also located near to many restaurants, bars, and convenience stores. Ginza, a main shopping district, is also a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Haneda Airport is also easy to reach The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the amenities are good. Perhaps the only slight disappointment is the breakfasts. I found that they were slightly limited in range (e.g., few fruit juices and no options around egg preparation) but that is being extremely picky. The staff are extremely courteous, attentive, and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly maintained and the Premier rooms also come with a complimentary mini-bar that is restocked each day at no cost. I travel extensively and to many countries - this is probably one of the better ones I've stayed outside of the UAE because of the lounge. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone."
