We enjoyed our stay at The Hotel New Otani - The Main in Tokyo. It's a beautiful, sprawling property. The garden is lovely to stroll through. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. We requested a baby cot and it was in good shape. I got a massage at the spa and it was excellent. The breakfast options were all wonderful, and the view from the 40th floor dining area was great. The bell desk helped us with luggage forwarding service. Every employee we interacted with spoke great English and was very helpful. The Akasaka area was well connected and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Very large hotel, there was plenty of food and shopping options inside the building. Staff was super helpful, made checkin/checkout quick, were very professional, and helped us with our bags. The room itself was pretty good. Pretty spacious with a nice tv and good sized bathroom, and they left complimentary candies with a welcome note which was a nice touch. There's a small convenience store and coffee shop in the building as well which is helpful. Definitely a hotel on the fancier side if that's what you're looking for, but wasn't over the top

Great except for comp breakfast buffets.

Great rooms and full service. Excellent staff. The Capri lounge is excellent as is the sky restaurant at top. What’s bad is the breakfast buffet. It’s tasteless and minimal. I tried twice and even went to the garden tower to try theirs. I ended up paying more and doing the restaurant buffet which was much better.
