This was our second time here, and our stay was wonderful. Prompt service. Very helpful staff. Friendly and welcoming. Numerous amenities. No long waits to check-in or for elevators. Attention to detail and incredibly convenient location. One of our favorite places to stay. Spacious, clean rooms. One request/complaint - the temperature of the fitness center was excessively hot and humid. I called to request the temp be lowered on the first day of our stay, but I could not tell much of a difference when I was using the treadmill on day 2 and 3 of our stay. There were other guests also complaining about the temperature. I am not sure if the a/c was off, but it was almost too hot and stick to exercise. If that had been corrected, our stay would have truly been perfect!

The customer service at this hotel exceeded our expectations. We loved how quickly they checked us in and the prompt replies from the concierge via text. The hotel was immaculate and the few complaints we had were a couple stained towels, sauna out of order, and a crowded pool. If there was a jacuzzi or separate spa area for adults to enjoy, that would’ve rounded out the whole experience. Overall, this hotel is convenient to prime shopping, dining, and walkable to tourist destinations. I would recommend to others who are looking for a family-friendly hotel with easy access to most Chicago attractions. I would also like to add that it is nearby CTA stations.

Great place for 3 nights in Chicago

Very nice hotel conveniently located on Michigan Ave easy walking distance to all the tourist friendly destinations in Chicago. Everything was fine -- room was clean, bathroom clean. Internet was spotty, and room fan was loud -- sounded like wind coming through an open window. Both very minor issues. Would stay here again.

The primary reason to stay here is the location. You're right in the middle of Magnificent Mile and you can walk to great restaurants, shops and landmarks. The area is beautiful and we had an amazing time exploring Chicago. The hotel itself is very nice, but also a bit dated. For instance, the elevator banks have separate cars that go to different groups of floors. Some might see this as old school charm, but I found it somewhat annoying as we always had to wait for an elevator. The room and bathroom also lacked modern lighting fixtures. And the Wi-Fi would occasionally kick you off. But I want to stress that this is still a good place to stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, they have a magnificent pool that any private club would be envious of and the gym is pretty good for a hotel. And the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a good hotel that could be great with a renovation.

Half of the elevators did not work, room not ready at check in time, rude bellhop and front desk with no urgency. Never stay here again. There are way to many other choices in the area, stay away from this hellhole
