Our party of 11 (3 generations in 6 rooms) stayed here for 3 nights, and it was a lovely hotel. The staff is FANTASTIC (especially the breakfast bar/restaurant servers), and the lobby is comfortable and welcoming. And you can't beat the location. When we checked in, they gave a little shoutout to Expedia and offered a little checkin gift in appreciation for our 6-room stay. I thought that was a nice touch. The rooms/bathrooms are a little dated, but the hotel definitely provides lux bedding and lobby amenities to make up for it. Several of us did not like the beds (too soft), so be warned if you can't sleep on a soft bed. But otherwise, we loved this hotel!

Phenomenal Chicago stay

The only thing we didn’t like was the smart TVs didn’t let us stream anything. We didn’t ask for assistance though so it may have been fixable.

Great location and central to everything you could possibly want to walk to in Chicago. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Taxis that were needed when it was not a walkable destination were cheap and easy to access. As was Uber. Highly recommend

A beatiful iconic property with super comfortable beds, great location for shopping and venues whether walking, using subways, ubers, or busses, awesome room views, and friendly front desk staff. We would feel better about the daily amenity fee if they offered good coffee in the room, or lobby.
