"Our room faced the highway which was extremely loud. Our door had a hole in the bottom so we put a bag in-front to keep it covered. The common areas of the hotel were very nice, as was the heating/AC unit, I just wish they put some money into the room’s doors and windows."

"We had a great stay at Cabana Bay overall. The retro vibe is fun and the pools, especially the lazy river, were a big hit with the kids. The location and early park admission made park days much easier, and transportation was smooth. Our family suite was spacious and practical, which worked really well for us. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the food offering was just okay, convenient, but nothing memorable, and the resort can feel busy at times. Still, it’s a solid option for families visiting Universal and offers good value for staying on-site."

"During our 5 days stay here there was a power outage for 2 hours where we lost our dinner/groceries. This resort doesn’t have a back up generator and it’s a time share location. My over all experience with the staff was they were not helpful, didn’t really care. The only good thing is there are a lot of kids activities on site. I would really think twice before booking here again."
