The room was dirty when we arrived, toilets used, no towels. No answer from phoning front desk, a recurring problem through the week if we needed something. Pool towels must be reused by guests for the whole stay. It’s gross. You have to wash them yourself or specifically ask for a swap, otherwise people are bringing their same dirty towel back to those chairs day after day. Ick. But The Grove is like that -policies are not so much about making the place work as about squeezing its inhabitants for fees, deferring maintenance, and decreasing costs even for basics. It was a dirty place, with unhappy staff who seemed overwhelmed, and policies that annoyed us and got in the way of our fun on vacation. Don’t go here.

When we arrived the room was dirty, toilets used, and had no towels. I called the desk for help but no one answered, a recurring problem. I had to flag down security for help, and housekeeping eventually cleaned the room for us while we sat there. At The Grove, guests are suspect: signs in the rooms warn not to steal the awful, threadbare pool towels. Signs at the pool warn that lost room keys incur a charge: but are provided to guests on a weird knitted wristband that must be cut off to be removed, and which often failed to unlock my door anyway. If the signage doesn’t make you feel uninvited, the annoying policies will. Last: as I worked through checkin and getting help with the problems we encountered, I spoke with annoyed people who seemed stretched thin. We won’t ever be back and couldn’t recommend The Grove under any circumstances.

Enjoyed the resort overall. They should think about charging for every little thing like a typical room refresh and chairs in certain sections of the pool area. They weren’t going that the last time we stayed there in 2018. The staff was great.. especially Steve at the fishing pier he was a superb host! He elevated our whole experience.

We have stayed here several times and found the water park is pure joy for the children, the grounds landscaping is lush, food is good, and the karaoke is great fun. Miguel, at the front desk is exceptional in his professionalism, guest services, and intellect in problem-solving business service needs. The 2-3Br Suite are spacious and furnishings are nice. However, it is time to upgrade appliances and plumbing. Maintenance is wonderful in responding to calls but there are an abundance of needs (e.g., dryer doesn't work well - shuts off from overheating, dishwasher missing 1/2 bottom rack and won't complete a cycle, lots of missing dishes, no pans to use oven, 2 leaking showers, squealing toilet, 2 TV remotes not working, light bulbs out etc.). Seems to be time to invest in replacing some tired unit components.

Took a vacation/birthday trip for our oldest child. This is our second stay here and we have enjoyed ourselves. We were able to have a room on the first floor which was very more convenient for us. The weather was nice and of course there were showers but then the sun would return. They also have kids recreational programs as well. We can wait until our next visit! Thanks for having us!

Ok go with an open mind

Rented a 2bd suite. Size of room was nice and loved having a washer/dryer in the room. However it lacked in cleanliness, blind in master did not work, blind in living room dirty, dust on night stands etc. Not enough to complain just cleaned it , if we could, and kept things moving. Also the room showed lots of signs of wear and tear, cabinets and doors had scuffing/scratches. Nothing that affected our stay. We were in room 1619 and the carpet area near I elevator was went the entire time we were there due to rain and the door not closing. Location in relation to amenities was perfect. My niece did have bedbugs in her couch mattress, she was on floor 4, issue was rectified immediately for them. Thankfully there were no signs in our room.
