The room was dirty when we arrived, toilets used, no towels. No answer from phoning front desk, a recurring problem through the week if we needed something. Pool towels must be reused by guests for the whole stay. It’s gross. You have to wash them yourself or specifically ask for a swap, otherwise people are bringing their same dirty towel back to those chairs day after day. Ick. But The Grove is like that -policies are not so much about making the place work as about squeezing its inhabitants for fees, deferring maintenance, and decreasing costs even for basics. It was a dirty place, with unhappy staff who seemed overwhelmed, and policies that annoyed us and got in the way of our fun on vacation. Don’t go here.

When we arrived the room was dirty, toilets used, and had no towels. I called the desk for help but no one answered, a recurring problem. I had to flag down security for help, and housekeeping eventually cleaned the room for us while we sat there. At The Grove, guests are suspect: signs in the rooms warn not to steal the awful, threadbare pool towels. Signs at the pool warn that lost room keys incur a charge: but are provided to guests on a weird knitted wristband that must be cut off to be removed, and which often failed to unlock my door anyway. If the signage doesn’t make you feel uninvited, the annoying policies will. Last: as I worked through checkin and getting help with the problems we encountered, I spoke with annoyed people who seemed stretched thin. We won’t ever be back and couldn’t recommend The Grove under any circumstances.

We have stayed at The Grove several times. Unfortunately, this may have been our last visit as each time we go it seems to get worse and worse. This time, we had to go to the ER on the first night when our daughter fell and lacerated her cheek and eyelid on the master room drawer knob. The master drawer dresser knobs are so sharp they should be illegal at hotels, they are so dangerous. I myself also cut my finger by accident just opening a drawer. Terrible choice of knobs considering most guests are families with small children. In addition to this, the Master shower had broken diverter so the water was freezing, the master ceiling lightbulb did not work, second bathroom floor was so dirty that a towel turned brown, and master right side sink had water pressure issues. Overall, terrible stay. I can no longer recommend this hotel and will be searching for another hotel for future vacations.

The room was great. The only issue we had which was a big one is that we were in the sixth floor and the elevator in our section was broken the entire time we were there so some of the elderly people staying with us could not leave the room and enjoy the waterpark or anything else.

We enjoyed the option of having separate rooms while traveling with younger kids! The staff was welcoming at check in and helpful with the map of the grounds ( it is a very large property). The amenities were nice and plenty of seating around the pool. The only disappointment was the restaurant and outside bar area. There was a sign on the host desk stating it was closed, so we had to eat outdoors, on lounge chairs. The only male bartender was a bit overwhelmed and we could also hear his frustrations too (not something any guests should need to know, as we're there for a non stress environment) Otherwise, an ok experience.

The Grove is a great resort for families! Multiple Pools, Water park and Arcade all onsite. Marketplace has everything you need if you forgot something for your stay. We lucked up and got upgraded to a 3 bed 2 bath room which was bigger than an apartment and super clean!

The resort was beautiful and even had shuttles to Epcot-Animal kingdom-Universal studios and Sea world. The water park and pools were clean and beautiful. They had a Market and 2 Starbucks and also Restaurant and outdoor Bars and food . This was an amazing place to stay and we can’t wait to go back again! The 2 bedroom was beautiful!

The floors were really dirty. I have photos of the kids feet.the were completely black after a few hours. I’ve seen cleaner feet from walking outside all day.
