It’s a hotel… somewhere to stay

Upon arrival the hotel was very humid and hot in the lobby. The bathroom wasn’t clean to my standards as there were water spots on the sink and the kitchen had debris on the stove and counter tops. There were no additional linens or pillows for the couch bed. The room was hot until about 3am that’s when it started to cool down. TV wouldn’t work for the first few hours and then was spotty throughout the evening. The pool was okay but could’ve been cleaned.

The room had towels that were wet, and the conditioner bottle was filled with shampoo. When I asked for both to be replaced, they never did. I had to walk down to the front to get that myself. It was very hard to reach the front desk.

The AC is set on low and on a timer. So never got cooler than 72-74. That was not cool enough for us. Balcony doors were permanently shut. That sucked. The pool area had not been attended in quite a while. The bright spot was the bartenders. They were a lot of fun!

Its pretty worn... and LOTS of operational details missed. First off in the first 10 mins there was a room change because i walked up on a scene of of at least 8 police officers and hotel security in the hall with more coming. Went downstairs to get room change. New room, No cups. Wifi code given didnt work. No pen or stationery but had one of my own. Phone on desk doesnt work because the is not even a cord it to plug it jnto the wall. Another phone in the room does work but if you call on it you get an automated voice that gives you a message and then the dial tone. I had to go downstairs to get the wifi ode. I had to go downstairs again for cups.only to discover that the the coffee maker is broken. So happy were here for only 1 night. I dont think we could take this hospitality any longer.

Our confirmation stated check-in begins at 3 pm but the hotel personnel said it was 4 pm. No problem, but our room wasn’t ready until 4:30. We could not connect to WI-FI because it said our last name didn’t match the room. The TV didn’t have a signal but when I called the front desk, I was disconnected 3 times. I finally figured out how to get the TV to work, but only local channels. No cable. No washcloths in the room so I had to use a hand towel to bathe with. I tried calling housekeeping but kept getting transferred to booking. The lady in booking transferred me to the front desk, you guessed it, I was disconnected twice before anyone even answered the phone.

The first room i had was horrible it had no air, no tv, no phone. Water came out black. Spider in the bathroom. The shower was not clean. It took two days before i could get a room because their system was down. It took the Engineer Augustus and Nicole the manager to get stuff done.

First our reservation made months prior didn’t matter the property I booked was full with no vacancy so I was given a room at their crowne plaza location. The room was barren with 2 beds a dresser missing drawers and a desk nothing else. On top of that there were wires hanging out of the wall where the thermostat should be. Asked for a second room and it smelled like mildew and had a soaking wet carpet. The other room we were given was occupied so had to get a new room and that one had a leak with no thermostat. At this point we just need a place to sleep other than our car so we reluctantly stuck with our less than desirable rooms.

There was a bug in my children’s bed, with small granules. Indicating the bedding hadn’t been changed. The blankets were stained. There were handprints on the headboard. The complimentary coffee wasn’t even for our coffee maker. There was one half used roll of toilet paper, and two towels for a room intended for five. There wasn’t any additional bedding for the fold out couch. The cable clearly hasn’t worked for months (see other reviews), but I was told it was due to a recent storm. The pool is on “A” rooftop, but behind the larger one. So, the majority of the day the pool is in the shade. Cleanliness seems to be a recommendation, but not a requirement. The balcony doors are screwed shut. The front desk employees were very nice, and the valet was great! The management tries to come off as a high class hotel, but on a very, VERY low budget. One gets what they paid for. I’d spend a little more on something a little better.

When I arrived for my 3pm reservation the said i would have to wait till 4 because of housekeep, I had to complain to checkin at 3:30. The AC was not working in the 1st room, I complained after 2 hrs I got another room. This is an old building and in need of a complete renovation in the elevator lobby and hallways, the hallway smelled like fish smh

This property needs a makeover. The furniture is old. The paint is chipped in so many different places, the bathroom was missing hooks and there were holes where the hooks should’ve been. No balcony access and there were paper clips on the floor when I arrived to the room.
