4 Star Seattle Hotel Guide

Don't let Washington's native humility fool you; there are a lot of great 4-star hotels in Seattle hidden behind its modest and modern facades. In the Pacific Northwest, even luxury isn't brazen; it's best enjoyed behind closed doors or a convenient screen of pine trees, with all the ultra-modern conveniences a high-tech capital can offer.

History & Transportation

Like Rome, Seattle is formed of several neighborhoods, each built on a hill; also like Rome, each of these neighborhoods features a distinct culture all its own. Fremont, for example, has a rich bohemian charm, while Columbia City caters to the international culture scene, and Ballard is the ultimate place to go to experience foodie heaven.

Many regions of this fair city also have their share of Seattle 4-star hotels. Taxi and app-based car services are quick and convenient, and in fact, almost every service you can imagine, from food delivery to customized navigation and recommendations, has "an app for that." Seattle is like San Francisco for its high-tech development, just without the burst tech bubble — and with more trees.

Things to Do

You can travel around any season of the year. Remember, though, that summer is peak tourist season in Seattle for a reason: it's the sunniest time of year in a place whose lush, verdant greenery requires six to eight months of regular rainfall to maintain.

Like all cities whose cultures center around staying out of the rain (Portland and Amsterdam, we're looking at you) there's nothing cozier than getting out of a rainstorm and into a cozy bookstore, coffee shop, or wine bar; with so many indoor adventures to be bad, you'll never worry too much about the chance of showers.

With Travelocity, you're just a click away from great deals on the 4-star hotel in Seattle, WA perfect for you. Our Seattle hotels price quotes come with the Travelocity Price Guarantee, which means we'll match any lower price and refund the difference, even after you've booked.
