The breakfast is not complimentary but the bagel shop in the lobby had excellent food and coffee. The hot tub is a good size and the pool is warm, everything was clean. There was always someone to greet you in the lobby.

I want to start by saying that Hyatt at Olive 8 was, in many ways, exactly what I was hoping for when choosing a place to stay during my marathon weekend. The room was comfortable, the location was ideal, and overall it felt like a great place to rest and recover before and after the race. However, what happened at the swimming and jacuzzi area after the marathon turned what could’ve been a perfect stay into a deeply disappointing one. After finishing the race, I headed down to the jacuzzi to relax sore muscles, something I was genuinely looking forward to. Instead, I ended up cutting my foot on a piece of glass that was inside the jacuzzi. I even found and removed the piece myself, bringing it straight to the front desk. Unfortunately, the response I received was far from reassuring. I was met only with a surprised, “Oh no,” followed by “we’ll notify the pool manager.” No first aid, no concern for whether I was okay, no apology, nothing. For a hotel of this level, I expected a more proactive and caring response, not just for me, but for the safety of the next guest using those facilities. I share this not out of negativity, but because I truly believe Hyatt at Olive 8 has the potential to deliver an exceptional experience every time. The stay should have been five stars. I genuinely hope the hotel takes this seriously and improves staff awareness and response protocol for incidents like this in the future. Guest safety must always come first.

We got ENGAGED!!! The hotel surprised us with rose petals, cheese and chocolate, and a sparkling toast in our suite! We were welcomed with smiles everytime we came back from exploring Seattle, but also left to ourselves when we wanted quiet time. Housekeeping was fantastic since we stayed for a whole week! We truly did not want to leave. Best week and stay we’ve ever had

Great property - very clean and modern. Amazing pool and hot tub on the 2nd floor. Walking distance to pike place market. Parking at the hotel is very costly however we were able to use the SpotHero website and park across the hotel for half the price Highly recommend it
