Unfortunately, this hotel was in pretty rough shape. There were large water damage spots on the ceilings, uneven and indented flooring throughout, and overall it just felt neglected. Having previously worked in hospitality, I could tell the property is in serious need of maintenance and care.
Our room had torn wallpaper, visible mold, and several areas that weren’t properly cleaned disappointing for the price point.
When I called a week prior to confirm my reservation (booked through a third-party app), the front desk agent was immediately rude, questioning why I hadn’t booked directly with them. The tone was unprofessional and caught me off guard.
At check-in, there was only one staff member working with a long line of guests waiting. She was doing her best and very kind, but clearly overwhelmed. It felt unfair that management didn’t have more staff scheduled to help her.
Parking was also unreasonably expensive $35 a day should really be included in the stay.
Overall, the property needs significant updates, better staff support, and improved customer service, I wouldn’t stay here again.
