Pros: Very large, comfortable room with the best shower setup we've so far experienced. Beautifully restored public areas.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind! We loved it!
Location: The only "problem" in Spokane right now (Spring, '17) was the construction all around the Falls Park, which is a highlight of visiting Spokane

Fails to meet expectations

Pros: The historical aspect.
Cons: Attention to detail has suffered probably due to Spokane's labor laws, I am sure the Davenport can no longer afford the staff they need.
Location: Great dining nearby and close to concert venue.
We were excited about our stay here as part of our whole Journey Concert experience. However, the room was dusty, had a broken hand soap dispenser, had a broken make up mirror, one small trash can that was quickly overflowing, one sheet of paper on the note pad, empty Kleenex box, banged up furniture, and a large soaker tub with no bubble bath.

Historically beautiful!

Pros: Our room included a fireplace, two cozy chairs, and a carved four poster bed. The restoration itself was impressive. Enjoyed the Starbucks.
Location: Right downtown within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.
From first pulling our car into the entrance we were greeted with a smile and made to feel we were the only ones there. We were put at ease immediately! Walking to the front desk we were told by a passing patron that we were going to love our stay, and she was right. Whenever I called downstairs they answered with my surname. And all the staff smiled and were very helpful, including the maid who asked if we needed any more towels! Room service was perfect with real plates, cups and cloth napkins!

Hotel was superb. The only problem was that we did not receive the lowest price possible which we booked with Travelocity.

Not worth the money

The hotel is beautifully remodeled. But unfortunately I had a room next to the elevator, ice machine and it was an ajoining room. It was so loud I had to sleep with the bathroom fan on and the clock radio set to static. It was not vacuumed prior to my arrival from the previous guest. The same items that were on the floor remained on the floor the entire stay. The sink is seperate from the of the bathroom and it is so dark in the room that you might as well put on your make up in the dark. It did not help that A light was out above the sink my entire stay even though I called twice to have it replaced. Calls came daily from a recording about a subterranean tank overflowing. And continued to call for over an hour one day with the same recording even though I called the Front desk to report it. They wanted to send engineering to my room to fix the flood. The spa was visited by myself and my family. six treatments in total and only two enjoyed their treatments. The room service menu was also very limited. It's a beautifully remodeled hotel but one that I expected much, much, much more from.

Historic Hotel in Spokane Wa.

Pros: Lavish and ornate
Cons: Remove the railroad to another location
Location: Shopping at the Mall 3 blocks away, bars, restaurants, coffee stations, See Spokane Falls
I was glad to get my hotel through Travelocity because it was economical and when I arrived I would not have a room. The timeframe I was there was when a tremendous storm went through and over a 100 thousand families were without power so guess where they were? We had electricity and all went well.

Beautiful hotel in great location

Very happy we stayed at the Davenport. Room was clean and very comfortable. Great amenities and great proximity to Spokane's downtown attractions. The only con was the paid parking but fortunately it wasn't tough to find street parking.
