Bar was the best,the bartender was a good young man service on point has a kid been in the area for 5 years he deserves a raise so he can find a better place for himself and his kid..front desk was great help and only one protest that night not bad for seattle

One of the elevators was out so catching the working one took forever. Also, did not get notified our rooms were ready until after 5 pm when I physically went there to find out why our rooms still were not ready. Positive note the front staff and rooms were nice.

My husband fell down the stairs…. but if you’re looking for walkable and on a budget this place is okay. From many other reviews it seems like the second elevator has been “under maintenance” for a long while so lots of waiting for the elevator. My biggest concern was that my husband slipped down the stairs in the lobby and the staff just barely glanced in our direction. No wet floor sign and it wasn’t raining at that time so not like his shoes were wet. Luckily we’re young and his body was forgiving but I can’t imagine if someone who was older fell down the stairs especially if the staff doesn’t care to make sure it’s dry, a wet floor sign is out, or when you do actually fall down said stairs. It’s an old building so obviously has its quirks, like zero air flow so windows need to be opened to get air but that also means all the sounds of the city at night as well. Checking in was confusing. They have a kiosk to check you in (and i love a contactless check in) but I don’t think it’s a great system. It was ai would’ve received a qr code and never received that email but they also give you the option to check in with your name and check out date - didn’t let me check in that way either. I appreciated the walkable location and the room itself was okay for a weekend work trip but if you’re looking to stay longer or are older, I wouldn’t recommend.

Very dated compared to the pictures online. Toilet would shake the entire floor when flushed. Window felt and sounded like it was open even though it wasn’t. $40 for fresh towels??. Had to wait 5 cycles of the elevator to get downstairs with bags since one is out of service. Parking is offsite. Won’t be staying here again.

Absolutely disgusting! From bed bugs, to mold, sink doesn’t drain properly and there was a bucket under the sink to collect water. Yellow stains in the bathtub, also a shoe print on the bathtub mat. The room smelled of cigarettes and mildew, the sheets smelled worse, had holes and stains. The carpets were stained and not vacuumed; there were crumbs, trash and hair from the previous guest on the floor of the room and bathroom. The room was barely bug enough to open our suitcases fully. It was an absolute nightmare! Do not stay at this property. It reminds me of a hotel where a prostitute would take their johns. Poorly managed, not clean, the AC did not work. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Amazing boutique in DT Seattle !

Very charming and comfortable. Great bar. Very friendly staff. Big clean cozy rooms. Great location with easy walkability. Great atmosphere all the way around. Would stay here again!

There was a definite bate and switch with the deluxe room (pic on web sites vs reality). 1 small and very slow working elevator was inconvenient and time consuming for a hotel this size. Parking was in a non secure lot a block away in another building but still paid 60+ for the parking.

The attendant stated she would mark a map to show the route I needed to take. She was interrupted by six other guests, helped them check in and carried their luggage and other things. After twenty minutes I went to the desk while she was free doing nothing, and asked if had done my map. She grabbed a map and flung ot open, but when two other people came up, ahe decided to check them in. I left.without directions.
