Good clean hotel near The Loop.
The Moonrise was a great place to stay. It’s clean, mostly comfortable (mattresses need replacing) and the service was good. They need to improve their “valet” service which sometimes they have and other times there’s no one to valet, yet they charge you for it! It’s a fun place but no frills.

I've stayed here multiple times and always enjoy myself. The staff is excellent. My only critique on this stay was my room was directly next to the linen/housekeeping room. Could hear washers through out the day and night which the nice noise makers of thunder, rain, etc took care of. Early morning was very loud due to location. Great hotel, will always stay there, but if you can request a room in another location
