We picked this hotel due to the price and the fact that it had a pool as my boys wanted to do on thing during our stay and that was to swim..... unfortunately even though a pool is advertised it is not open this year. I had 2 disappointed children for our trip

The Room itself was nice, but the Location of the hotel turned out to be a lot less convenient than it seemed to be when I was looking at the map prior to booking it. The neighborhood is not great, and the streets were not safe for walking due to a combination of significant construction projects and the presence of lots of homeless people - many who appeared to have mental health problems. Also, the parking situation at the hotel was not good as their Valet was closed due to Covid-19 and they have no parking lot for self-parking. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the street where the meters were not being enforced, but I then felt compelled to leave my car there for fear of not having a space to return to - which then caused me to spend a lot of money on Uber rides. Also, the Hotel did not inform us on Check-in of the many services that were not available due to COVID-19 - including Housekeeping. The staff were responsive when we asked questions of them, but we should have been given the information proactively and not had to ask for it.

Hotel is excellent! The property is very clean and the room is spacious. The staff was very friendly. Valet staff was excellent however the street to access the valet is on the rear of the hotel which is a busy side street and can get very congested with non hotel cars for neighboring apartments and traffic etc. the pool is an outdoor pool so it is not available in the winter. The area in which the hotel is located is close to fast food areas and not too far from the Union Market however many homeless people are around the property and surrounding blocks.
