The kitchen was exactly what we needed and very clean, as was the entire apartment. We absolutely loved the location, close to everything and in the charming Hill neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. The decor was beautiful. The back deck overlooks the beautiful fountain across from St. Ambrose Church. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

This was the most magnificent rental I have ever stayed in, outside of the grand hotels of Europe, Asia, and North America. The place was beautiful and extremely well appointed. The location was heavenly. Everything was wonderful.

We just loved the apartment - location, cleanliness, attention to details - all was wonderful! The only caution for some might be the stairs up to the place but it was not big deal for us. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean. Washer and dryer was super convenient. The kitchen didn't get much use because of all the food options within easy walking distance but we sure enjoyed the Illy coffee!The area is bustling but not overly noisy. If there is a wedding or funeral St. Ambrose Cathedral area can get backed up as there are many narrow one way streets with parking on the sides so walking is the preferred way to get around during those times. We walked nearly everywhere except when we had to leave the area to see family. We had great conversations with shop owners and residents alike. We ate at at least 5 Italian restaurants and enjoyed each experience. Gian-Tony's is a personal favorite and he went above and beyond to give me a special treat I requested in advance. Gelato by the fountain is wonderful. Pizza da Gloria was great, Mamas was super good as was Charlie Gittos (fancier). We enjoyed the Antique Marketplace, DiGregorio's, Missouri Baking Company, Cafe Dolce, Volpi and many other places.

Amazing place and very clean. The location can not get any better. No matter which direction you walk when you exit the building there are great food options. The Piazza Imo view from the deck was absolutely beautiful day or night. The convenience factor alone is worth the stay. We just walked everywhere, no need to drive. We loved the friendly people and the feeling of being safe as we walked all over the Hill day and night. Thank you Debbie and Joe for the opportunity and it was nice meeting you both. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay while visiting our daughter at SLU. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was stocked and the deck overlooking the fountain was clearly my favorite. The location is walkable and ideal for visiting the shops, restaurants and little cafes in the neighborhood.

I wish I could describe how wonderful staying here was. The neighborhood is perfectly walkable and being above a gelato shop was a godsend. The hosts were so generous, accommodating, and helpful. I will 100% stay here again and refer family and friends. If you want the perfect place to wind down after a full day in the city, then this is it!

Another wonderful stay on the Hill!

This is the perfect location to explore St. Louis and especially the Hill area. Lots of fabulous restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The deck overlooking the beautiful Piazza is such an added bonus. The apartment is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. We will be back!

Girls Trip to STL

My college roommate from the early 80's and I got together in STL and stayed at the "Room With a View". It was perfect for us (2 BR, 1 bath) and we LOVED it! It is right in the heart of the Italian neighborhood on the Hill and was no more than 15 minutes to anywhere we wanted to visit in the city. It was so comfortable and the deck overlooking the beautiful Piazza Imo was a huge perk about this property. We spent every night out there enjoying a beverage and enjoying the evening. It is right above the Gelato Di Riso, which we frequented every night we were there, no matter how full we were from dinner on the Hill. Everywhere on the Hill is definitely an easy walk from this property which we loved...along with feeling completely safe even when walking at night.

Great Apartment Great Location

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and the bed was comfy. The location makes it easy to get anywhere in St. Louis. The neighborhood is walkable and if you love Italian food you could spend two weeks taste testing your way around. It’s all good. The parking lot and one way street are best suited for cars and smaller SUV’s. We had a Ridgeline truck and we managed but it took a bit of care to park and get out of the lot when the street was parked full. You will hear church bells but I thought they were nice and not too loud. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
