Not a great visit at all

Upon arriving to check in, hotel staff said “we don’t have breakfast anymore and the pool is closed, do you still want to check in?” breakfast was the main reason we selected this hotel. Also, we had three guests. We needed 3 blankets. Apparently this hotel doesn’t have that.

This place is a joke.

I was surprised by the dirtiness of the property. The pool was filled but not able to be used, they no longer have a breakfast which it said on the site this place did. Not even coffee was available. I waited almost 2 full hours to get my room because they were running behind, then when i asked for an extra 30 min at checkout they said i would have to pay for another day. Not at all a hotel i would recommend. When asked why none of the features advertised on the site were available, i was told it is under new ownership. Well, these new owners must not care.

Hard Pass

Photos in hotels.com do not match the room we were given. The room was in poor condition as shown in attached photos. We reserved a non smoking room but the room reeked of smoke. Front desk said they were sold out and we could not change to another room despite the lack of cars in the parking lot (?) Mattress, bedding and towels smelled of smoke. Room made us ill.

No Shower and White Power

The shower did not work. Dogs chased me. People walking around with funds on their hips. Felt uncomfortable and did a Google search to find out that that land is replete white supremacist militia groups. I checked out the second day after one night only. and was still charged for a 5 night stay. Craziest experience ever. Never Again.
