"The staff has a terrible attitude and are incompetent. They are incredibly rude and unable to communicate anything clearly unless it is the price of one of the many things they are trying to upsell you. The management only cares about squeezing money out of you and making you feel like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to be there. In the end, they even admitted that it's all part of their new marketing strategy. I've stayed there many times before but left without staying this time and would never go back. Profit over guests is never a way to earn loyalty. I'm glad I had this experience - it allowd me to discover the much better Cheval Residences right around the corner - where they actually care about their guests."

"Bailey’s Hotel was wonderful. We were first timers to London and the hotel location was perfect for walking to the many sites or taking the Tube which was directly across the street. The room was comfy and quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was nice for a late night cocktail. Breakfast was delicious although we just ate there once in our week long stay. Would definitely stay here again."

"Overall our stay was fairly good. The staff were excellent; friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The location was excellent with a tube station and tourist bus close by. The Executive room we stayed in however, was below the standard we expected. The refrigerator didn’t work. Some bathroom tiles were held on with adhesive tape. The bath and surrounds were chipped in parts and had been poorly repaired. The chrome had worn off the tap over the vanity. The welcome which came up on our television each morning greeted people other than ourselves. This was a little off putting and was in no way welcoming for us."

"Tiny rooms. We were downgraded to a "cosy" room despite booking a "queen" which was ridiculously small. Management insisted the two rooms were the same (they were not). Finally moved to a queen room the 2nd night of our stay which was very small but acceptable. Both rooms had shower drains that did not drain with water overflowing into the bathroom. In both rooms you can hear the people in the rooms next door and hear people in their rooms from the hallway. Location is good. Beds are comfy. Stay here if you are solo on business and just need a place to crash."

"Really nice to stay in a non chain hotel. The decor is great. Big bathroom with both a bath and a separate walk in shower. Excellent water pressure making for a great shower. Very friendly check in staff. No problem with an early check in unlike the cheaper chains I’ve recently stayed at where early check in is now an automatic charge. Great place to stay if you’re planning an evening at the Royal Albert Hall."
