"Good Downtown Location"
Hotel very nice once you get there. Parking is a challenge. Construction in the area makes it difficult but when I called they met me on the street and parked my car for me. Their valet parking is expensive and takes time to retrieve the car. We learned to park one block away for half the price and it wasn't difficult. The staff were very helpful especially a man named Limo at the front desk.

"Cute vintage hotel "
It's a cute hotel, room was small but clean and comfy beds. Hotel offers no breakfast or room service but everything is walking distance. The attached restaurant is good but pricey and not a place for kids due to long waiting for service and food. The gym had two treadmills both broken. Two ellipticals one broken and the other slightly made some bumping noise. The parking is pricey and 50 - day for an SUV size vehicle. However the staff in the garage are the fastest workers I've seen, pretty much no waiting for your car, they were very friendly too. The location is great. Two or three blocks from cable car and main shopping.

"Adventures in San Francisco"
The Diva is close to Union Square, where you want to be. The staff is very courteous and helpful with recommendations and directions. The rooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side but remember this is an older building in SF as most hotels in the area are smaller in square footage. The best thing is there's a Starbucks right next door to grab a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich before heading out and sight seeing thru the city. It is a bit pricey for the size of the room your getting but otherwise if it really matters, there's also the Marriott, Westin and Sheraton close by.

"1st time in San Francisco"
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were surprised to be able to check in early! The only disappointment was the mattress felt like we were sleeping on springs.

"Wow!! "
I thought Travelocity only offered leftover cheap rooms. Our room at Lowes Regency San Francisco was 5 star in comfort (pillows and bedding so soft!) and the Bridge to Bridge view was spectacular! The room service and restaurant food was excellent! The Entire staff was very courteous and friendly.

"Fun boutique hotel"
I was a bit concerned about my stay after reading a few negative reviews. I'm so glad that I disregarded the reviews and booked a room here. The building is definitely old but the room that I stayed in was nicely updated. The fun updates added to the retro boutique feel of the room. I loved the fireplace and the view out of my window was lovely. Everyone on the staff was very friendly.

The location was great. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, so I can't say anything about the amenities. We were there only 2 nights. I will say I wish the bathroom counter top was bigger.

"Fun Beach Stay"
We really enjoyed this hotel. We vacationed with our family of four, (2 kids, 6 & 8 yrs old) and another couple we have been friends with forever(they stayed on 3rd level, Penthouse). We had an ocean front view on the 2nd floor which was fantastic! We stayed the Aug. 23rd weekend. A lot of the schools had already started so it was fairly kid quiet. The fog horn which sounds about every 5 seconds did not bother us at all. We even slept with our balcony door open at night and didnt hear it. Quiet hotel rooms overall. We did pick up some wine and cheese at 5:30 each night. The white wine I had was good. But, I think they could have offered some plates, instead of napkins for the cheese and a real knife instead of plastic. Breakfast was a good selection of homemade baked goods; muffins, coffee cake, danish, bagels/cream cheese, coffee, milk and juice. The selections varied according from day to day. Kids and our friends enjoyed the pool and hot tub spa. I like how they were separated from each other with a fence surrounding each. Views from patio/swim area were wonderful. The area was close to other areas. There is a walking path behind the hotel that will take you to other restaurants (Barbara's Fish Trap which we enjoyed) and Half Moon Brewery which I would NOT recommend due to service and food quality. Overall enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a beach get-away.
