Mouse and musty

This condo was nothing extra special. It's in a beautiful area but the pictures of the condo in the listing made it look bigger and better than it was. Upon opening the door to the condo, we were met with a musty odour. When we were preparing to make food we found mouse feces in the oven drawer and lower cupboards! Considering how much we paid for the rental, I expected a much better rental. Also, when placing the reservation, it wasn't stated clearly on the website that the cost was in USD. Imagine my surprise when the charges to my card were 30% more than I expected. I'd caution anyone considering a VRBO rental to be aware that if you are coming from outside the USA, that it will be EXPENSIVE!

Everything was as described. Great communication from property manager. The only thing to consider is the condo is small, but that is well described in listing and photos and as expected and perfect for a family of four. All in all, excellent!

Keowee Key Fun

Condo was clean and is located conveniently for quick access to Keowee Key's many amenities. There is a pool within a short walk that we used multiple times and the golf club is pretty much next door. There is a nice private beach in the neighborhood as well as parks and multiple marinas. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to a return trip in the future.
