"On the beach!"
We had a great room, close to everything, right on the beach, junior suite! We will go back again next year! The food at the buffets and all the specialty restaurants was wonderful. This property is beautiful and relaxing!

"GREAT hotel and AMAZING people!"
The hotel was pretty great. Our vacation was so relaxing. We got to meet a lot of the staff which were all great. The only complain I had was that our room which was on the ground floor was infested with sugar ants, but they were super fast to attend to our needs and resolve the problem with totally eco friendly products. The hotel is very eco friendly, so they are even posting signs about not using straws due to the damage to the environment since they can't be recycle. They encourage people to reuse, reduce and recycle whenever possible. They protect the turtle eggs that are found on the beach and moved them to a special place in the beach which is closed in order to protect the eggs. Once they eggs hatch, the turtles that are left behind are released back into the ocean in the evening to protect them. We just got back Saturday, and since it is technically hurricane season, the beach was full of seaweed. Not a little, but A LOT of seaweed. There were a few days where the water was crystal clear though. So it all depends on the current and time of year. However, the beach was so not needed because the entertainment team on the beach and through the various pools, were perfect enough not to really care about those little details. I am definitely already planning my next trip and most definitely will be staying at the Iberostar Paraiso complex. I stayed at the Lindo from 8/15 to 8/22.

Overall it was a nice stay. The food outside of the reserved restaurants left A LOT to be desired. There were soooo many people that it was hard to find chairs by the pools and on the beach. October wasn't a great time to go; the beach was so rough and murky it was flagged red almost every day of our stay. This is a VERY touristy place. A lot of stuff to do. Staff was friendly. I wish they allowed adults to swim in the pools at night, or at least until midnight. They closed the pools as soon as it got dark. This resort has 5 or 6 hotels on it that are all different. We ended up getting lost most of our time there, it was just way to big. The balconies/patios weren't private at all. I was hoping to see more wildlife there. Kids were running amok; if I had the money I would've booked at the top hotel on this resort, the Grand- no kids allowed!

"Beautiful beaches"
Great place for a relaxing vacation! The beaches are amazing and the pool is beautiful. The restaurant options are pretty good. The Japanese restaurant is by far the best! All staff was friendly and made us feel comfortable. They speak multiple languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, etc) making communication simple and clear. The Concierge was great in making us feel comfortable. Drinks were good; tip your bartender and they are even better! Check in and check out were quick.
