Soccer tournament mountain trip

We stayed at this cute little place while in the area for a soccer tournament. Great location to everything we needed but off the main road enough to make getting in and out way easier! It had everything we needed for a long weekend! We traveled with 3 kids under 12 and they were very entertained with the games! A huge bonus for us was the fact that we were able to control the thermostat to meet our needs! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

First time in the area

My family and my sister’s family decided to take a trip to explore TN. We came across this listing and it didn’t disappoint. The house was clean and beautiful and the hosts were very easy to communicate with when needed! We had such a great time and hope to get back in the future.

Thoroughly Enjoyed our Stay

We had a wonderful 6 day stay at this cabin, 4 adults and two children. Everything is so close, gas stations, Kroger, Publix, the Island, shopping, all within a mile from the Parkway (the main road through Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg). The cabin is very clean and the hosts responded almost immediately when I had a couple of questions. We did not do any cooking but the kitchen is very clean and well equipped with everything you would need. The beds were comfortable. The grandchildren, ages 3 and 4 loved the lower level which had the video games. It was hard to get them away from the games. They also got to sleep in bunk beds for the first time. The pool was open but since we were gone most of the day during our visit, it wasn't used much. You can see the pool from the decks, its just a few walking steps away from the front door, very convenient. The hosts were very kind, they were prompt when booking and they sent informative emails regarding the cabin and the area. I would definitely book this cabin again.

We loved the spaciousness of the cabin for all of us!! Everyone was happy and cozy! Just disappointed when booking the title description said pool open, which made us want to rent it over others, and we knew the weekend would be very warm, but the pool was not open

Unaware Bear Winter Getaway

Our family weekend getaway in the GSM, the cabin had a great location to everything that we wanted to do. The Unaware Bear was clean and it felt like home away from home most definitely will use it in the future. The host was great to work with from the start to the end.

Thanksgiving In the Smokies

This is the fourth time we have spent Thanksgiving in Pigeon Forge. The general rating is very good. At check in there was a problem with the door code. Through the efforts of host and VRBO the problem was solved withing fifteen minutes. There was plenty of room for the 8 adults and 1 teenager in the cabin. The cabin was clean (this is a big deal with my wife) and supplied as descripted in VRBO. All appliances worked which is good. An added plus was a Christmas tree and fireplace. Both were a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay and rate Micheal as an excellent host.

Great Getaway

I can't say anything bad about this cabin. My family was fortunate to stay here and Mike the host was always available if I had questions. The cabin was clean and in a great location. This is a cabin I want to stay in the future so hopefully always available for my vacations especially with grandchildren. Thank you to the Unaware Bear Cabin for being my home and making my getaway special.

Pigeon Forge Wedding

The home is large with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and each is decorated beautifully and are welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful with trees and squirrels. We didn’t see a bear but what we believed the work of a bear with garbage cans up turned and trash on the driveway. We had a lovely stay and if we ever went back to Pigeon Forge I’d definitely book this VRBO again.

Great Location!

This property was just as described, everything you needed for your stay was supplied it was like being at home! The proximity to all attractions couldn't be better! The pool and the arcade games were a hit with the kids! This was a great place to stay and I recommend it to all...5 🌟 from me!

Great house in a central location

Close to everything. House was very roomy for 7 people. Clean with well stocked kitchen. Lots of extra blankets and towels. We enjoyed the hot tub and the neighborhood pool. We ate on the porch several times. Area is quiet and very well maintained. Grocery store is close.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at the Unaware Bear. The house was spotless when we arrived and it had all the necessities including extra pool/hot tub towels. The pool location was very convenient and the hot tub was nice on the porch. All the beds were comfy and there were nice sheets and pillows with plenty of extras if needed. We will definitely keep this saved as a favorite for future trips.

5 star property

Our stay was great, the location was close to everything. Close to the grocery store and convenient stores, while it was close to everything it was located on a quiet dead end street. The house overlooks the pool which made it convenient for watching the kids. The pool was well maintained. the jacuzzi was clean. The Ethernet was fast, we were able to stream our favorite channels on tv while the kids played games on their I pads without any issues. The kids and adults enjoyed the games. The grill was on the main floor deck just outside the dining room. There was extra linen for the pullouts everything was clean and we had plenty of room. The parking was convenient and level. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
