The Sweet Spot

We had a great month staying here. The apt was the perfect size for the two of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with many small appliances etc. The king bed was comfortable but the pillows smelled of sweat.... didn't care for that so much. The hot water in the bathroom shower was tricky. The shower had to run at least 10 minutes before it got warm and even then it wasn't that warm... whereas the hot water in the kitchen was EXTREMELY hot and came quickly. It was a cool January this year. We live in MN so we're used to cold weather but needed some warmth for a few days as the apartment was 59 at one point. We tried to turn the heat on but the thermostat didn't work. The contact person was great and got an hvac guy out to fix it. The owner had wired it incorrectly. It worked fine after that. It rained for a couple of days which caused the roof to leak a bit in 2 places. Once the rain stopped, the leaks stopped too. For the cleaning fee we paid, I would have expected the place to be a little cleaner. The sliding door tracks were really dirty as were the windows. We liked the location and the pool area is fantastic. My athletic husband was VERY disappointed the fitness center was closed. When he asked about it... he was told, "We're waiting for a part." The whole place closed down because of one part? All in all, our stay was good and we were taken good care of.

Mid-Century oasis

A mid-Century dream spot. Newly upgraded, all the details of this cute space are wonderful. Close to great hikes, food and bike trails. Can't wait to come back to this gem.
