Bucket List Golf Experience

Pros: The Bay Hill Lodge is a not your typical hotel. This a combination Country Club and quaint comfortable Lodge all in one.
Cons: I can't think of a thing that need to be improved.
Location: Very close to the Theme parks and City Walk.
Exceeded my expectations on every level. The staff of Bay Hill bent over backwards to make my stay an experience of a lifetime. They made me feel like I was a member of the club. I belong to a Country Club and I have never been treated as well as I was treated during my stay at Bay Hill. The front desk staff welcomed me every time I walked in the door and took care of any request that I made. The Bar staff was extremely friendly and answered all of my many questions about Mr. Palmer. The girls that work the snack stand and beverage cart were outstanding. The food and drinks in the restaurant were reasonably priced and very high quality with superior service by the wait staff. The best meal I had in Orlando. The golf course was in good condition and challenging yet fun to play. The Golf Shop staff worked with us on tee times and even found a way for us to play the back nine again after our round. The Lodge and Golf course were excellent but, it was the staff's personal attention caring nature that put my stay over the top!

The hotel was clean, Staff was polite and helpful.

Pros: Beautiful view from the lounge area and delicious margaritas.
Cons: Lower the price of breakfast.
Location: The hotel was quite close to local establishments but just far enough away.
I was unpleasantly surprised by the price of the breakfast; we went out to eat. The hotel was conveniently close to the wedding activities we were attending for the weekend.

Oasis in Orlando

Nice stay found thru travelocity. Husband and I enjoyed the peace while our daughter visited with a local friend. Located in a beautiful and peaceful area of Orlando, situated centrally for access to Disney and Universal. Lots of great restaurants nearby. It's a golf club and we didn't come prepared with appropriate attire for the restaurants, golf or tennis but enjoyed the pool and the gym. The room was beautiful and right on the golf course. We'd go back again but better prepared to enjoy the services on site.

Cons: Can not think of anything.
Location: Great location... Universal is right there , diverse dining right their ,close to all thru ways .
What a gem we have found at the Palmer hotel Orlando.. although we are not golfers, we loved every single thing about this place. This was our second time staying here... the staff is soooo great and the rooms are beautiful, clean and the golf course views are beautiful.. looking forward to our next visit.

I loved the feel of staying at this historic lodge

I loved staying at this historic lodge. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of there way to be helpful. If you love golf, the atmosphere of staying with fellow golf lovers is a treat. I also liked that the lodge is located in a quiet, beautiful area of Orlando. A get away from all the hubbub of the city and Theme Parks.

Definitely worth a visit!

We were only at the Lodge for one night and unfortunately didn't have the time to play golf. We found the Lodge to be well maintained, comfortable and a great value. The staff was friendly, courteous and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend a stay at Bay Hill for every fan of Arnold Palmer and anyone else seeking a quiet, cozy retreat from the craziness of the theme park hotels.

Nice, quiet hotel close to universal park

First, we are seniors, who do not play golf, but this hotel kept coming up on our search with very reasonable rates and a 4 star rating, so thought we would give it a try. We were going to Universal studio , but didn't want to stay at the resorts on property.... The Arnold Palmer Bay Hill resort was absolutely perfect! The staff was wonderful...hotel very clean.... And the food was definetly the best!!!! Would definetly stay there again!!! A bonus... Got to meet Arnold Palmer himself!!

Great hotel!

Pros: That it was beautiful and quiet.
Cons: I wish they had a refrigerator in the room.
Location: Shopping, great restaurants, Disney, and other theme parks.
This hotel is very, very nice. The staff are all wonderful. They were always very pleasant and helpful. The view from the balcony was nice and looked out over the nearby neighborhood. The beds were soooo comfortable. Our grandson was with us and even he said he loved the bed - he's only 11. This hotel is in a quiet area, but just a few minutes away from Disney and other major attractions. Great place. I will definitely stay here again.

Great for golfers, loud families book elsewhere

Pros: Clean, close to parks.
Cons: We had to drag our luggage up/down short series of steps. Don't know how handicapped are accomodated, but ramps would have been nice.
Location: Pool which we didn't have time to use. Would have avoided anyway. Great place for couples or older people. Don't think children are very welcome.
The resort seemed very nice. Spent entire time at parks so cannot comment on amenities offered. Will comment that this is not a place to go if you have loud children and want to spend time at the resort. Felt like I was always asking my daughter to keep her voice down. And I'm not sure if we packed the appropriate attire to meet the dress code for the dining areas. The upside was that this is the quietest hotel you could ever sleep in, which was nice after long days at parks. 20 minutes to Magic kingdom and less to Sea World and Downtown Disney. Very clean.
