"Great location. If you get a nice room, it's wonderful. Our first night was in a room off the lobby and on street level.Very loud but hotel was kind and was able to move us next night. Hptel has nice bar. Good restaurants. Friendly staff."

"Amazing stay at the double tree in Amsterdam! I can’t recommend this place more! Very convenient location close to the train as well as downtown. Amenities were very sufficient as well! Beautiful restaurants, beautiful room, pre check in luggage storage, comfortable bedding, and amazing staff! Our favorite part was being offered a warm chocolate chip cookie from one of the sweetest staff members ever- every time we’d walk in the door. We would giggle every time but the small things like that made our experience."

"Very close to the central train station, this was a very walkable hub for our trip. It’s outside of the major touristy areas, so it’s still very quiet at night. The hotel features an indoor pool, sauna, hot tubs and steam rooms for guests. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. A great hotel for those staying in Amsterdam"

"Great location right on the canal, with helpful staff. Good breakfast with lots of options. The bar doesn't stay open very late, but there are many places nearby. We were told a day ahead that our bed request couldn't be accommodated, which we thought probably meant a standard/double instead of king or queen. What we got were little twins that reminded me of my childhood bedroom. Which were comfortable but not ideal as a couple. Still, would stay here again based on everything else."

"This hotel is a must for anyone visiting Amsterdam! The location is ideal near the Leidseplein ( 1 block) right on several tram lines and a 5 minute walk from the Risksmuseum. The bloom market is three blocks away. The staff was wonderfully helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. The coffee lounge was clean and welcoming with afternoon pastries. Just outside was a stop for evening canal boat rides. I wholeheartedly give this an excellent rating."
