This place is a not nearly the nicest place 2 stay

Pros: If you need a kitchen in the room, here you go
Cons: the location, this property is not on the beach, it looks over the marina and you have to walk down the way to get to the so called hotel beach
Location: the property is located to some nice things to walk to if that is your thing, I did not walk very far
I was very mislead by the reviews, as it was made to look like this was one of the better places to stay in the area. If this is indeed the have low expectations. I have never stayed at place where the maid comes once every 4 days. I was there alone so it was not like there was a mess to clean but I thought that was strange. This place is also half residential/time share, so there are two different check in points, the one for the hotel part is a small office around the corner from the front desk. I would not stay here again.

Not a hotel

The room was fine but it is a time share and we were given a bit of pressure to,buy an apartment. There is no front desk and it is long and time consuming to get checked in. I would not stay there again.

Very Disappointing!

Pros: The staff were very gracious and helpful!
Cons: NO early morning service to help us check out our luggage. $28. a day for valet parking is outrageous. Noisy. Mixed condo/time share/hotel confusing
Location: Great mass transit for Waikiki. Next door to the other hotel activities. Walk on the beach to places to shop and eat.
We may have had the worst room in the place. With many months notice of our reservation we got the 3rd floor right above the lobby entrance. This proved extremely noisy from the busy main Waikiki street side.... with a view of Just other hotels...I had requested quiet, partial beach view. Eventually the staff arranged to move us for the last 3 nights of our 10 night stay to a higher floor with a bit of the mountain view.... not quite as noisy. This is a condo/ time share part of the lovely Ilikai hotel. NOT what we expected at all!

Comfortable, Convenient, Cost Effective

Receive room/car package for family of 4 adults. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Location was convenient and within walking distance to restaurants and the beach for a beautiful view of Diamond Head. Cinnamons Restaurant on property was a perk. Discounts provided to other restaurants within walking distance. Watch Friday night fireworks set off by Hilton next door. Large fully stocked kitchette enabled us to store leftovers for midnight munchies & to prepare a last minute dish for party that we flew in to attend. 2 full size beds plus soda bed was perfect for our family size. The lanai was enough for us to sit back, relax, & talk story w/drinks and appetizers in hand. Check out at 10am was a bit odd. Typically 11am or 12pm.

Excellent value, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, well equipped rooms.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, in room safe for valuables
Cons: pool is nice but smallish
Booked thru package air+hotel. This is a time share unit but received absolutely no hassle/pressure to attend their presentation and did not have anyone giving a sales pitch. Room was comfortably equipped, nice bed and sitting areas, had full kitchen, washer/dryers (coin operated) on same floor, plenty of room for us (2 adults). Used the limited housekeeping which meant towels changed out and trash collected daily which suited us just fine. Beautiful deck area, open air lobby with coffee shop, small sundries shop, outdoor bar/casual restaurant on premises. Live Hawaiian music and dancers on deck area on Friday nites. Suggest booking room on ocean side instead of overlooking busy Ala Moana Ave (will be quieter with no traffic noise) and a room on a higher floor will give a much better and unobstructed view of beach areas.
