Room very spacious, hotel through out very clean. Friendly staff! Our chambermaid cleaned our room everyday. Breakfast was variety of different Bagels & a choice of different flavoured muffins, very large and very filling. Highlights for us was having a spacious room, a fridge, iron & hairdryer. Down points it was a little dated and was a bit noisy with the traffic at night. Also could have done with extra pillows. But that has not put us off in returning. We enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Anytime I had an issue the staff was quick to resolve it. The remote didn’t work for whatever reason and they sent someone up right away with a new one. I asked for an additional pillow (only provide to for the whole bed) and they quickly brought up 3 more.

Good god the beds are basically box springs. Don’t look around too much, you’ll find problems with everything. This is a decent location for travelers and not vacationers. Never again even for the price

Room with two beds was great for my 2 daughter and myself. The location was excellent - close to everything. And believe it or not - the breakfast was excellent bagels and muffins (real NY food - not that packaged crap). People were very helpful. Not the most "glam" place - but you're in NYC - we were there for the city, not really looking for a hotel to hang in. We went exploring!!

I throughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were lovely and amenable. The room was clean and contained the basics. The location was wonderful; close to several subway lines and with excellent access to both north/south and east/west bus lines. It is a safe neighborhood. Included breakfast is bagels , muffins and beverages. If you don't mind a hotel that is esthetically worn and stained but comfortable I would highly recommend.

The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear people talking in the hallway and in rooms around you. Unfortunately the beds were uncomfortable as well. Not very thick mattresses, and the pillows were like paper. Other than that, the hotel was fine! Definitely check out 7th street burger across the street.
