Lacks bathroom conveniences; no automatic checkout

The room is fine but the bathroom needs work. A giant empty wall with no towel bar or place to hang a bathrobe. The sink was too small and shoved in a corner with inadequate vanity lighting to shave or apply makeup. We waited in a long line to check out since only one person was working at 10:00 on a Sunday morning. There should be a backup available. Or offer automatic checkout where you don't need to see a person anyway.

This was our second stay, as I really liked our first room and the neighborhood. Even though I booked what I thought was the same type of room, it was remarkably smaller than the previous one. The coat rack was above the nightstand, which resulted in me knocking things off the nightstand when I tried accessing my coat. Also, the bathroom did not have sufficient sound proofing. I heard neighbors’ activity in the adjacent bathroom and their alarm clock woke us up while we were sleeping.

They don’t have parking onsite, so they use Icon parking. Well the hotel staff gave us the address to the parking & we were supposed to get a discounted price. We didn’t get a discounted price, we paid $175 for 2 days. I think the place is a scam, bc on the wall 24 hr parking was $60ish. We did pay because we needed our car and to leave on time but I wouldnt recommend this hotel if you need parking!!! The room was clean.

Just what I needed

Perfect location from Grand Central, to MetLife Stadium and Penn Station. I’ve done a lot of travel so having a a room on the 21st floor with a great view was nice. The staff was accommodating for an early check in and late check out request. That, alone, made the trip special.

This is my second time staying there, it’s such a good stay, convenient for any distance you are walking in the city. Room is clean, bed is super comfortable, blackouts, AC perfect, can’t be better than this.
