The room was really hot with no way to cool it down but did try to crack the window. Ventilation was noisy. The biggest issue though was the lighting! The room and the bathroom were both so dark it was impossible to put on makeup! The pluses: walkable to foggy bottom metro, Whole Foods, and sweet greens. Also a Trader Joe’s right around the corner

It was such a lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of Washington DC. Very easy to walk to a grocery store or walk to a good restaurant. Also not too far from the National Mall. The room was very comfortable and the service was lovely. We had a wonderful stay. The in-house restaurant, however, was a bit pricey. Otherwise - everything was good.

Everyone was friendly, bartender was great. The room could have been cleaner though, we found hair around our room. Also, when we first checked in a housekeeper came in without knocking to put a remote in our room. We did not call about a missing remote. I guess she realized it was supposed to be in our room, which is fine, but she should have knocked and not just come in the room without notice.

No high speed Internet, or television

Nice comfortable rooms with additional seating areas. Very clean and staff was friendly. It is a bit ridiculous to claim. They have Internet access when reviewing other people from 10 years ago this has been an ongoing problem for this hotel. If you plan on doing any business here look elsewhere because the Internet is nonexistent. Also if you arrive and there’s any snow at all falling, you will not have any television, so you will be without television and Internet.
