Liked the lady that checked us in. Hated many things... The man that we called about our reservation before arrival. The room reeked of smoke. Door would not shut or open properly. No stopper in the sink. No stopper in the tub. Hair dryer old and yellowed from smoke. Toilet bowl rocked badly. Toilet seat loose as heck. Guest above ours, manscaped himself (armpits or balls) pushed hair over the balcony to land in front of our door. It was a pile as big as a squirrel and stank! Ice machine did not work. Drainage grate in parking lot rattled LOUDLY all night long as cars drove in and out over it.

The carpet was very, very dirty, a roach crawled on the table where our food was, part of the ceiling fell down, the walls were very very thin. I could hear talking and activity on both sides of me very clearly, and the people upstairs walked around all night. Ceiling noise was unacceptable.

Not clean

Room did not smell well. Shower was dirty and carpet needed to be vacuumed. You know the room is not clean when the first thing your husband does is pull down the sheets to see if they are clean. Pass on this hotel and go down the road to another one.

Horrible

I am so disappointed with this stay. The room was filthy. The floors turned my feet black, the safety chain on the door was torn off the door frame, the door frame looked as if it had been pulled away from the wall, there were frozen beers in the freezer that was defrosted to the point the beer would not come out, the tub had a crack in it, the walls had writing on them, the air condition unit was unplugged and I had to plug it in to turn it on and the toilet paper holder was broken. I feel like I was cheated for the price that I paid for the room. I would never recommend any Super 8 Motel to anyone. I feel I should get my money back.

Not willing to accomodate

Pros: There was nothing special about this hotel - basic shelter for the night.
I requested a ground floor room because of my 85 year old father who is a Korean veteran when I made the reservation. The staff was not willing to accommodate us upon check in claiming they were all booked up. I repeated several times that I had made this request when I booked the room and my father can't manage the stairs and their comment was "too bad- we're sorry and we are all booked" My father was forced to climb two sets of stairs in 90+ degree heat. We couldn't find another room at any hotel because of the eclipse. There were no bath towels in the room either.
