Perfect cottage

This was the nicest cottage we have stayed at in Wachesaw over the last 10 yrs. It is walking distance to the pool. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We will stay here again.

Comfort in a beautiful setting

Cottage was cozy and comfortable. Had everything we needed and bed was very comfortable. Perfect neighborhood to take dog for a walk. Beautiful southern oaks with draping Spanish moss. We would absolutely stay again!

Fabulous!

Love, love, love staying at this property! Perfect location in Murrells Inlet, a stone's throw to the pool, golf club and tennis courts! Our hosts thought of everything we might need for our stay and lots of extras. Loved the addition of two bikes so we could ride around the beautiful neighborhood. The duplex was adorable, comfortable, clean, and exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage. Loved the area It was very quiet and well taken care of. The only complaint we had was parking One of our spots was taken by what I assume was the owners car. So we had to find another spot open. That was not convenient to walk through a rooted walk way. Other wise great trip

Oaks Cottage At Wachesaw Plantation

Beautiful home in a lovely place. The hosts reached out to welcome us and were available if we had any questions. When we arrived the cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Located on Wachesaw Plantation in Murrells Inlet where there is so much to do. Bike rides, pool, tennis, air boat ride, restaurants... Neighborhood is quiet and the scenery is beautiful. Also pet friendly! We brought our senior dog Abby. Loved our stay and would definitely book again.

Perfect home base for baseball tournament

We had a Labor Day tournament at Grand Park in MB and were looking for a “non-MB” experience — this cottage hit it out of the park! The neighborhood/club were beautiful, quiet and exactly what we were looking for. The boys (12 and 10) rode bikes without worry, swam in the salt water pool they could walk to, and played tennis on the nearby courts. The cottage was exactly as expected: 2 clean, nice sized bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of space to relax. We will stay here again!

Beautiful cottage and great location

We have stayed in many rental properties and this one is ranked extremely high on our list. The property was entirely as advertised and well equipped. The community is very quaint and quiet but near to lots of amenities. For us, it was perfect. Great communication from the owner. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing cottage

This is the best rental property I think we have ever had. Every detail was offered, and much appreciated. We needed a nice place to relax after a stressful time, and this overdelivered!!! Eric and Leslie were helpful and in touch throughout the process! We will definitely stay here again!!! I cannot recommend it enough! Exactly as it appears and more!!!! 10 stars++

Everything was even better than advertised. So many extra amenities, like bikes, tennis rackets, state parks pass, and lots more. Communication with Eric and Leslie was the best! This property provided all we needed for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back. The owners were terrific and the location is perfect. It’s a beautiful place and I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Murrells inlet.

Amazing southern hospitality

If you are picky, expect quality, comfort and ambiance, then this is the place. our fabulous hosts Eric and Leslie provided us a meticulously maintained cottage in this private and gated historic southern plantation. You name it, this cottage, nestled among gorgeous 200+ year old moss filled oaks provides it! Among the features; fully stocked kitchen, full tilt lighting and decor throughout ,amazing sun room, large walk in shower, fabulous cottage front porch with rocking chairs, bikes on site, and walking distance to pool, golf and tennis!!..thank you Eric and Leslie again for sharing your amazing home with us and your hospitality! .. we can’t wait to return 😊.

Best Stay Ever!

We have stayed at numerous houses over the years, and this was by far the best. Comfortable, attractive, relaxing, convenient, this place covers it all. The neighborhood is so beautiful and quiet. We are hoping to plan another trip to Murrells Inlet next year and this is the only property we would even consider. Eric and Leslie are great! Very accommodating and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. Both Eric and Leslie as well as their property deserve more than 5 stars! Rick & Colleen Stewart (2 very satisfied guest!)

Perfection

Imagine meandering through an area with live oaks draped in moss. This is what you see throughout the entire community. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. We walked around the area every day. When you enter the cottage, it is even more lovely than the photographs. It really is like a home away from home. There was not one thing that we needed that wasn’t there. We noticed that the kitchen had everything you would need to to prepare your own meals. Other than breakfast, we enjoyed eating out while we were there. The bedrooms were fabulous with plenty of room. The den area has comfortable seating as well as the enclosed sunroom. We noticed they had games as well as books. This cottage is close to Huntington State Park where you can go to the beach, and Brookgreen Gardens is just across the street from there. There are countless places to enjoy a great meal in the Murrells Inlet/Pawleys Island area. Chive Blossom in Pawleys is always wonderful. Gulf Stream Cafe in Garden City has great food as well as a great view to watch the sun set. This cottage and the surrounding area was perfect. This cottage has moved to the top of my list of rentals. The owners were always willing to give information or suggestions and seemed genuinely interested that we enjoyed our visit.

LOVELY COTTAGE & GRACIOUS HOSTS

The Plantation Oaks cottage is located in a stunning setting of an old rice plantation graced with majestic live oaks draped with Spanish moss! The development is pristine, quiet, and elegant. Every home, yard and road is picturesque and well maintained. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a beach/nautical theme and the colors are calming and well coordinated. The owners of the cottage kept us well informed and were gracious and helpful. They provide a comprehensive visitors book with all the details about the cottage as well as recommendations for dining and entertainment! Our entire experience was well coordinated from the initial booking through to the day of checkout, everything flowed smoothly. We’d love to stay in the cottage again, it was so comfortable, pleasant, and lovely! One of the very nicest places we’ve ever stayed, it really made our trip perfect.

Paradise Found!

Plantation Oaks Cottage was the perfect choice for a vacation of rest and relaxation. This cottage is equipped with everything a person could possibly need, including beach chairs and umbrellas. It is furnished with a beach theme and the decor is light and airy and inviting. The neighborhood is gorgeous with beautiful homes and the most amazing trees. You can walk to the amazing salt water pool and the beach is just a few miles away. This cottage is as lovely as pictured and our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We all gave this cottage our highest possible rating! A+++
