5 nights here. 16th floor is below gym, so not the most desired floor, but limited impact on sleep

Convenient for event.

Pros: The hotel itself was appealing and convenient. Convenient underground parking
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: Many restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance
The hotel itself was nice. Wait staff in the restaurant was not friendly. I did not settle into my room until late in the evening and was so disappointed in the cleanliness of my room. It was dusty and the floor right inside the door was not clean, but the bathroom was terrible. Shower doors were dirty, the mirror and sink looked like they had toothpaste splatter on them and the shelf had residue on it.

TRAVELOCITY MISLED ME ON MY SEARCH

Pros: location. Close to light rail so it was $1.75 to/from the airport.
Cons: I was not getting what I searched for but made it work since I had no choice.
I only wanted 3 things... a hotel that had free internet, room service, and breakfast included. Radisson blu was listed as meeting my criterion but, in fact, does not. Free internet - yes. Room service - only until midnight... huh?; Breakfast plan - nope nope nope. When you pick your room, it does say breakfast at surcharge - but no option to pay it so, as a consumer who had that in my criteria, presumed the surcharge was included. Fact is, Radisson Blue staff told me that there are NO, NONE, Zero travelocity rooms that have breakfast included.... so even though you think you are getting a discount, your are not - they took breakfast out to give you a "discount" So breakfast ran me $60 for 3 breakfasts of 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast and coffee + tip. Travelocity customer service was playing word games with me when I called regarding the search... Oh you wanted a place that had breakfast... I said, 'no, the box I checked was under "Plan" so I wanted a breakfast plan which means prepaid breakfast or included in room price. It went downhill from there. It always seems to be a disaster to use a 3rd party site to book any travel plans. Its non refundable (but if you booked with hotel, you could cancel up to xx hrs before without penalty). They kept offering me a voucher for future travel but I wanted them to pay for my breakfasts since that was my need. No they said. So I am stuck with a $50 voucher with a company that I really do not want to do business with.

A birthday baseball weekend

Pros: Not much. We will not return.
Cons: The main lobby staff need to work on their customer service skills. Most hotels make you feel welcome. They did not.
Location: The hotel is connected to Macy's. The ball park is within 2 blocks walking. The light rail and bus are about 3 blocks. Plenty of restaurants.
This 3 day weekend was booked to celebrate my husbands birthday. He is a huge Twins fan, so if you are taking in a game, the location is perfect. Not even two blocks walking distance. Nicollet mall is also close as well as the light rail, however the room was very tired looking. . We arrived early and our room was not ready. The clerk told us she would check to give us an approximate time it would be. We waited in the lobby for almost an hour. She saw us and ignored us until my husband finally went back up to her and asked the eta. Her response was the room has been ready for quite some time. If that was the case, why didn't she tell us. Granted the lobby felt more like a bus depot than a nice hotel, due to the traffic and setup, but we sat not even 50 feet from her. Just poor customer service.
