We were charged for snack bar items, that we did not purchase. We neither purchased anything from the bar nor the snack bar. We made no extra purchases what so ever! There was a cart in the room with bottled water and coffee. We did not use any of these items either.
At our check in we were told that we had to change our room type from the one we booked. No reason offered. The woman at the desk assured us it would be an upgrade at no extra charge. We agreed to it. So there should be no charge for this either.
We asked to speak to the manager. He was not available. We asked them to review their video surveillance as there was a camera by the snack bar.The woman at the desk stated she would forward the issue to the owner for review. The charges on the credit card disappeared for a few days then reappeared unchanged. Nobody contacted us with any explanation.
If this happened to us, i am certain it will happen to others. We are very upset over these fraudulent charges. If it happened to us, iI am sure it will happen to others.
