Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. If you like hunting, four-wheeling, trout fishing, or just getting off the grid, then this is the place for you. Deer stands (talk to owner), trout streams and 4x4 trails, right outside your door. Enjoy a wrap-around deck with breathtaking panoramic views outside. Located between West Jefferson and Millers creek. 1.5 hours from uptown Charlotte, 25 mins to West Jefferson and the New river. House is located 2 miles up an old logging road. You will need 4x4 (ATV/UTV) to access house or hike in. If your not experienced in off road driving or long hikes, then this property is not for you.

Gorgeous Views (Inside and Outside)
The trip to the top was more adventurous than we anticipated but my husband and I had a blast! The views were stunning, the trees, the sunrise, the stars! And you can see everything from the couch inside the cabin or sitting out on the deck. It was so peaceful and special. We're already excited to return back!

An amazing fun place to stay off the grid. You absolutely must have a 4 wheel drive vehicle or use owners ATVs to access. Ed was very helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Lots of fun
If you want to get away, this is the place. It is truly “off the grid.” There are lots of places to hike, see the excellent vistas, or just enjoy the outdoors. There is a stream at the base of the road up to catch trout, etc. if you are a hunter, I’m sure this would be a great place. The house is exactly as pictured, no need to be concerned. The drive up was a challenge. The rains had created ruts in the road. Edward had a 4 wheel truck to use to get up to the cabin, and that made the trip up fun in itself. We had a great weekend, and definitely recommend to others who really want to get away from it all….
