Found this spot very last minute as I had to extend my stay in Miami for a couple more days. I’ve only experienced the hostel environment a few times in Europe, this would be the first in the US, so I was a bit disappointed that there weren’t any microwaves or fridges for guest to use. I don’t know if that’s a norm or not but just wanted to note that. Otherwise, my stay was good.

Staff was not courteous nor rude. Bland. The rooms were just getting swept for the sake of sweeping and that's all. Sand was all over the room all the time. For bathrooms, they just change the garbage and floor mat and go. No full wash of the bathroom which is been used by 8 people. Sad. And the worst part is the music everyday from the pub down. Weekends are worse. How loud it is, I could Shazam what was playing super easily.

First you need to state this is a hostel not a full hotel. I went to check in at 4pm. The desk person checked me in then walked off. I stood at the window for 10+ minutes while I hear him make jokes and small talk with other coworkers. Another person came up and asked if I needed help I said I was trying to check in and he ran back and said he was trying to get a housekeeper for a room that should have been ready over an hour before. To get to the room we had to go up and down several stairs and cobble stones so this was not very ADA compliant. Room was not soundproof like your site says. Our room was right next to the bar so we heard loud music and ppl till midnight on a Sunday night. The bathroom had no separation from the shower to the rest of it so that resulted in huge puddles of water in from of the sink and toilet. The AC was basically window units so did not work well and came on and off throughout the night being extremely loud. Was not worth the price of this place one bit.

Well before I got there nobody called me and said anything about nothing and then I called them at least three or four times and every time I call it went to voicemail and it never called me back and then I paid over 40 something almost $50 to go to that hotel where when I got there that evening time on the 17th when which was when I made the reservation for the 17th to the 25th they canceled my room and didn't even call me and tell me nothing about it didn't say one word to me or anything and I called them three or four times trying to get them to call me back and they never called me back My phone went dead and I got a little charge on and I still called them and they never called me back and then I had to turn around and pay the same amount again just to go back leave that hotel cuz just because I was asking them questions and all that good stuff they acted like I was being hostile towards them and I was quiet and when I first got there I heard two females already screaming and yelling in there and she just laughing like it was funny and not trying to be funny I am a black female there's nowhere in hell they wanted me there no way not trying to be funny but come on now it was full of Mexicans and they were all in there and I was staying in a room in the hostile so that's why they canceled me out and gave me up and excuse and they really didn't even give me an excuse on why they canceled me cuz they couldn't say I did they just said the room got canceled

This is more of a party hostel and hotel. It is great, if and only if you like to mingle and meet people. If you are looking for a quiet stay, this might not be the way. The location is super though.

I booked this hotel last minute in order to attend a sports event and, due to the time pressure, I did not realize the reservation was for a shared room until I arrived at the hotel. Once I became aware of this, I immediately asked if I could change to a private room and pay the difference. I was not asking for a refund to stay elsewhere or to cancel my stay—I simply wanted to continue my stay at the same hotel in a private room. Unfortunately, this request was denied, which I felt was unreasonable given that I was still willing to give the hotel my business. Additionally, the hotel advertises free Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi was not working for the entirety of my stay. This further impacted my experience and did not match what was advertised. Overall, I feel that the situation was not handled fairly, and the stay did not meet the expectations set by the hotel’s listing.
