We have stayed at The Garland many times. Staff is friendly. Easy access from the freeway. Property is clean and well maintained. Family/pet friendly. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have always been clean. The restaurant is consistently good and the trolley to Universal Studios is an added bonus. Highly recommend.

Rooms were clean. Staff friendly. Parking thou was an issue. We arrived back from a day trip on a Saturday night and there was no parking to be found. We had to exit and renter the area twice, and spent literally 20-30 min trying to get a spot. The rooms were not as insulated. We could hear the guests next door. Especially the screaming children. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I won’t be returning. The grounds are beautiful and kept clean. The area I feel is safe but not worth it when you’re paying a parking fee and still cannot find a parking spot.

Each staff member was kind and helpful. Very friendly and attentive. It was loud, you can hear footsteps, water, and conversations. There was a wedding on property that was extremely loud well past my bedtime. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a heads up about that, given I was there for work, I would have asked for a different room or chosen somewhere else all together.

Perfect for a solo stay!

Lovely hotel, room was lovely and clean, aircon was a bit too loud but manageable. Pool was brilliant, seating was comfy and the water was a perfect temp. Staff were so welcoming and i will definitely be back, highly recommended

An excellent hotel

It was a good experience. The service was excellent, the hotel staff was always very friendly and kind, the hotel always looks clean, and every room I stayed in was playing a different movie in the pool area, making it very pleasant to spend the night at the hotel. It's a hotel you should choose for your vacation.
