I opted for a Hollywood Hills side view, which unfortunately was quite overcast and even at night was not a clear view. I should've just opted for the balcony room overlooking Wilshire Blvd

Having only one restaurant with a very limited menu was not what we expected. The room service was extremely limited as well. The gym was great and we loved the flavored water! The construction is very extensive and you do not want a room that faces that as it’s loud and extremely dusty. The in room lotions, soaps and shampoo were great as well.

Construction is inconvenient; staff made up for it

I was there for a conference in the hotel, which has been undergoing renovations for years. The construction causes some inconvenience. The valet and pickup/dropoff line is crowded and inefficient, and ride share and taxis don't always know how to navigate it. When there is an event, you can't get picked up or dropped off easily. The line is endless. The hotel one has one restaurant open, no coffee shop or the like, and in-room dining is very slow. My room was lovely, clean, modern and bright. The toilet has a bidet! The shower is great. The staff who helped me more than made up for the inconvenience. The receptionist put me on a floor away from the construction, the concierges found me a hair salon, gave me recommendations for how to get my Lyft/Uber and recommended restaurants. Housekeeping was perfection. Everyone was friendly. The general manager on duty brought me my room service (plus extra goodies) because I was waiting. There was sometimes confusion around things like valet parking, the shuttle, etc., but that was more the function of the fact that I was at a conference of 400 people (most of whom were not staying there) instead of the hotel staff not knowing the right answers.

Needs new shower doors

The bathroom shower door did not keep the water within the tub, when I reported it they dealt with it quickly by putting a plastic gasket on the bottom of shower door. However, the next shower left so much water on the floor we had to ask for extra towels to deal with it. Until the end of our stay. The housekeeping was excellent.

I didn’t get the level of room that I paid for; so i definitely overpaid and then I ordered room service and it took over an hour so I was late to a meeting; not to mention the breakfast order that arrived as I was walking out the door was not even the correct order. I was told they would compensate for the meal but I never even had breakfast; and no refund for my room. Very Disappointing:(
I paid for a deluxe double room with terrace !!
This is not the room I paid for.
We ordered 2 yogurt bowls with berries & granola
And 2 lattes … this is what arrived over an hour late. No coffee, no berries and no granola :(

The staff was amazing - but with the hotel under construction, there were no vending machines, no store to purchase items or snacks, it made it very difficult to check in. Came after surgery and had to go through construction to get to the room. The restaurant had very limited food options for dinner leaving us to order from uber eats. Was only notified that the pool would not be available - was never told there would be almost no amenities. For the price and if being a Hilton I was very disappointed.

Checked out this am (9/20/25). The fact that they are open during the extensive construction and charging full price for their rooms should be illegal. The entire hotel is affected by the construction. It starts at 7am and it’s loud even on the weekend. One entire side of the hotel overlooks an enormous construction pit - it looks like ground zero at this point. The valet now has to park the cars in a garage down the street making the process long and difficult. There is no pool and if you want to swim you have to drive to the Fairmont Century City to do so which is incredibly inconvenient (see valet issues above). They have one little restaurant on the top floor (8th) with a limited menu of overpriced and just so-so food. Service was hit or miss both times we ate there motivated by convenience only. If this hotel ever had ambience it’s now gone. I’m sure in 3-4 years it will be a great place to stay, but nobody should stay here until then. It is awful!!
