Beautiful property on right on the beach. Great sunset views, good food and spacious rooms. If I have any gripes, it would be as follows: - Room could have been cleaner, particularily the floor - Our Refrigerator needed repair, it had condensation on it that dripped on the floor during our stay. We reported it but it didn't get fixed - They need to dim the outdoor lights in the overhead lights at night. Room does not get remotely dark with them on fully. - Restaurant is a bit loud on the weekends if trying to sleep. - When using the upstairs patio to relax, we felt like second class citizens as the wait staff wanted paying patrons there. I would definitely return, the above items did not interfere with our stay that much, but if they had been better this place would be that much more of a gem.

Yes beach view was obstructed. We were at the back corner of hotel by a noisy street. We love this hotel and were disappointed with the location we were placed. I called both hotels.com and the hotel front desk to voice our disappointment .

Where are the balconies and patios? Only in the pictures did I see them... If they were not on the beach, I am sure the reviews would be different. I booked the family suite via Expedia and upon arrival was charged fees not listed in the confirmation, and was fooled by the pictures and accomdations as what was suppose to be two queen beds and bunk beds, plus a sep sitting area is actually one queen bed within 1ft of bunk beds and a sofa that turns into a queen.... eliminating both the 2nd queen bed and seperate sitting area. I am not sure where these balconies or patios are but they aren't visable anywhere apart from the photos. I went to the front desk to show that what was booked did not match the room provided and if there was anything larger available...not only did they tell me that there was nothing else avail, but upon looking up availability on MY own phone I saw that they did have another room and I had to show the front desk to prove that there was.We were able to move into a "double family room with partial ocean view"....partial ocean view is a joke considering that you have to walk outside to see the ocean. The staff was not friendly nor helpful considering they clearly wanted nothing more than to end their shift and not provide any service upon arrival. Expedia and the actual hotel website do not match and I am very unhappy with the entire experience.

During our recent trip, we stayed at an exceptional hotel that truly exceeded our expectations. The spacious room comfortably accommodated our family, featuring modern decor, a plush king-sized bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a balcony overlooking the ocean. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our needs were always met. The hotel’s amenities, including a swimming pool, spa, and on-site restaurant, made our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Hermosa Beach area for a relaxing and memorable experience.

Great location right on beach. Booked accessible room, for 2 x 3 night stays at beginning and end of our trip, queried lift and assured there was 1 to get my husband to 1st floor. Messaged Hotel to ask if I should amend/upgrade to ground floor. No response. Lift not working and hoped it would be amended by our second booking, told it had never really worked .Managed stairs but not easily, please do not take bookings if you cannot meet accessibility needs! Also, noisy room (room 3) told it was something to do with kitchens!! Not worth the price if you require any assistance but Ab Fab if you are able bodied but please DO NOT report to have accessible rooms unless you only offer ground floor

We've stayed here for many years. The refurbishment is nice and the rooms are clean. Staff at the hotel are lovely, but the management is not great. Very much get the feeling they don't care about repeat business. Right on the beach which is great and next to a ton of shops and restaurants. Parking is pricey so keep that in mind as it's not part of your booking bill.

Staff was polite, especially housekeeping and valet. Housekeeping was readily available and professional as well as valet. The view from the room was very nice. The rooms were very well kept and clean. They had a very nice large patio area out front but it was used as a restaurant and bar and tended to be quite noisy towards the evening as customers came in and out. So the patio wasn’t really available to the guests staying at the hotel unless they were dining or drinking. There were some rooms available with balconies and if I were to stay again I would definitely get a room with a balcony. Also, they did close the restaurant at 10pm and enforced quiet time after that. All in all a very nice stay.

Good Choice for Beachfront Hotel

We had a partial ocean view room on the 2nd floor and the view was great. Our balcony faced the alley entrance to the beach so we had an unobstructed view of everything. The room was simple but clean and the location can’t be beat. We didn’t try the food at the hotel restaurant but sat outside in the bar area and it was relaxing. It is definitely one of the nicest beachfront hotels on that strip. Valet service was prompt. We didn’t request any special services but the front desk staff were friendly at check in. Would recommend.
