Stayed at Best western in Bakersfield. Much better property. First: Anyone can access your room door. No door for entry points. Had my wife and two children. Hotel gave a key card that accessed my door. Someone opened my door at 0100 in the morning. Luckily I had the safety lock on. Noisy until late in the morning. Had a 4 day stay prepaid. Checked out the next day prior to check out and they only returned 2 days and made me go through travelocity to get the refund. For the price stay elsewhere

It was nice and clean and had an updated look. Check in was easy and it was close to lots of fast food and restaurants all within walking distance. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely book there again if I was in that area.

We had trouble getting the airport shuttle. The hotel is at leadt 20 minutes by shuttle from the airport. Rhe rooms face inside a courtyard but there are no hallways meaning every door is an outside door. We had security concerns given the bars on windows in this neighborhood.

Not good for the price. You'd expect more.

Usually ask questions are nice. But this one was in a bad part of town, had no indoor hallways and the rooms were not clean.

Ehh.. hotel staff was amazing though?

Short and sweet. Hotel is located in an unsafe area. Has some issues with saftey so checked out the same night! But seriously the staff made up for it. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and fix the issue but I was just not having it :/

Nice Hotel close to the highway and airport.

Pros: breakfast and localization
Cons: nothing
Location: localization was the best
We have problem in the first room assigned, but quickly they change us of room. very good breakfast. The front desk clerck was very efficient.

Nice hotel. Close to everything.

Quiet, staff very accommodating. Did not like self parking fee. You had to park any way, there was no where else to park. So why charge a self parking fee.
