Hyatt Vacation Club at The Lodges at Timber Ridge, Branson
"Overall our stay was excellent! The room was very clean, smelled nice and was comfortable. We stayed in the cedar lodge and our room had our own secluded balcony with 2 rocking chairs on it, overlooking a small pond with a fountain. My only complaints are that the bathroom is very dim, even with all of the lights on. And my main complaint is the check in process. The first woman was very kind and helpful for the initial check in, but then we had to go to the opposite side of the lobby to get our parking pass. At first I didn't understand why she couldn't give us the piece of paper to put on our dash until I quickly realized that the man she directed us to was trying to sell people things. There were 2 groups in front of us waiting to get their parking passes, but he was really trying to talk them into doing an hour tour for money. After waiting about 10 minutes we were getting frustrated. We had just driven 5 hours, we were hungry and had tickets to a show. Then another woman said she would get us our pass and tried talking us into the tour and we had to say no several times. I now understand that they do this almost everywhere in Branson, which is why we will not be returning. But overall the stay was pleasant, we just aren't fans of people trying to sell us something everywhere we go."
