I liked that their is security at the gate. Description said that it had hot tubs but they have been taken out.

Hole in bathroom ceiling, where fan and light fixture were installed could see out of it, room was dirty, and the noise level from above and adjacent rooms was horrible.

I reserved a non-smoking king room, and was put in a 1980's villa. No other rooms were even being used in our building, which was creepy. Wifi didn't work in our room--even after multiple calls to their support staff. We found out at checkout that even if it had worked, there would have been a charge. Tile grout in the bathroom floor was coming loose in big hunks--right under our feet. Staff also tried to force us to go on a tour of the resort, even though we said up front we were not interested.

We apologize for any issues you might have experienced with our WiFi connectivity. Being such a popular amenity, it is widely used; this can sometimes cause connectivity issues. As a timeshare resort, we allow our sales staff to promote and offer some of our more popular vacation packages and timeshare properties; however, the overall customer service experience provided to our guests should certainly not be altered in any way. We are currently working on upgrading many of our features and appreciate our guests' patience during this process. In the area of the resort we stayed at the room is in need of updating but the bed was great

Hotel in Branson, MO

We reserved a hotel room with king size bed. They were overbooked so we didn’t get it. Instead we got a room separate from hotel that opens up to parking lot. The room had 2 queen size beds instead. IT TOOK 1:10 TO CHECK INTO THE ROOM. 😡. NO room is worth that kind of wait! Disappointed.

Timeshare

Pros: Not one thing
Cons: More hot water, the building we were in ran out of hot water around 9:00 am, so take your shower early!
Location: The location was fine
This isn’t a normal hotel, it’s a timeshare. You will be pressured to sit through a sales meeting and pressured to purchase a time share contract. The room are way below normal, more like the bates motel. The rented rooms are not in the building shown in the ad, those rooms are for owners of the timeshare, the rented rooms are poor motel rooms.

Over-rated by other reviewers

Location: The location was convenient to nearby shopping, restaurants and shows.
The hotel staff who checked me in were very nice. Before I could get out of the lobby another person was trying to get me to come back at a later date so they could give me a 1.5 hour presentation and sell me one of their properties. As for the room, lighting was poor and some of it didn't work. Baseboards were unattached from the wall in some places and dirty. The bathroom tile grout was filthy - belonged in a locker room. I definitely won't stay there again.

Would not stay again!!

Pros: Good Bed & hot water
Cons: Many things. See above.
Location: Branson is a great town, many thing to see and do.
Room Review Westgate Resort, Branson Missouri Oct 21 2016 We had a 3 night stay booked through Travelocity. We were very disappointed with this Get Away vacation. Episode 1, We arrived in Springfield Missouri to pick up our rental car (booked with Travelocity) and found that the booking was for a taxi service to deliver us to our hotel. We called Graylines (the taxi service) to see where our car was. They informed me that they are a taxi service, very disappointed. We cancelled the service and found a rental car at the airport. Graylines also informed me that they have had the same situation with previous customers and they have tried several times to have their service removed from the rental car option. I am still waiting to hear back from Travelocity regarding a refund. Episode 2 We arrived at the Westgate Resort and were impressed that it was a gated community. The reception was fantastic, great people and check in process was great. We then went to our room (room 2011B), what a disappointment. We tried to change room even pay for an up grade, they said nothing was available. The room was a Studio which I thought would be a step up from a regular hotel room, was I wrong. The room was very small, had 1 window that overlooked an un-kept area. With limited natural lighting it was very dark in the room. The in room lighting was also very poor, still using CFL’s that were dim and took time to warm up….suggest going to the new LED lights. The general condition was poor.

Run of the mill room

Location: Good location close to shows and shopping
Run of the mill hotel room and smaller then typical holiday inn type. Not a good value for the money.
