Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport - Directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3
"This hotel was wonderful. Helpful and courteous staff. The location was excellent with transportation and lots of food choices. The rooms were clean and the AC worked well. During our stay, there was a 5.9 earthquake nearby, which woke us in the middle of the night. I want to commend the staff as they had excellent security and safety procedures. Immediately after the earthquake, they had an announcement on their PA systems to all the rooms. They immediately confirmed in English first, a brief message that an earthquake occurred and the most important thing was they assured us that the building was safe and we were to remain in our rooms. They then did a longer more thorough announcement in Japanese and immediately translated that announcement in English. Providing the brief announcement in English first was a brilliant idea as visitors from elsewhere (like us) are not familiar on Earthquake procedures. Just being reassured and told to remain put was such a relief. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for their safety, security and care of their visitors."
