"This is a lovely Kailua hideaway! It has a beautiful yard in a gorgeous Hawaiian setting. Great location. There is a grocery store near in case you need something. There is a beach just minutes away. The unit lacks nothing in amenities, has everything provided. The hosts are extremely accommodating and respond quickly to any requests. We will definitely stay here on our next trip. "

"This is the second time we have stayed at Scott's Tropical Gardens. Scott is very easy to communicate with and readily replies to any questions or concerns and has much knowledge of all the local places. The house is perfectly located in a quiet area of Kailua just a few minute walk to beautiful Kailua beach. Although the interior is somewhat dated it is decorated in a Hawaiian theme and definitely has the Island vibe. The backyard and pool is the centerpiece of this property where our kids and grandkids spent memorable times enjoying themselves. We will definitely look for this booking first the next time we visit this paradise. "

We definitely enjoyed the Zen like atmosphere of the pool and garden at the front of the house. The fully equipped kitchen greatly facilitates meal preparation, enhancing the overall experience of our stay. This space is ideal for relaxation, adventure, and creating cherished memories with loved ones.During our visit in April, we had the unique opportunity to observe some lively indigenous shearwater birds that roost and nest nearby at night, coinciding with the onset of their mating season. While their vocalizations can be a bit energetic and lively and may require some adjustment for those who favor a quieter sleeping environment, it's worth noting that the property owner has thoughtfully provided earplugs to help mitigate the noise. Overall, this is an enchanting place to unwind, with just a minor consideration regarding the presence of local wildlife."

"Nice place. Upper loft suitable for kids who want to climb a ladder to get to it. TV remote batteries had to be replaced. No garbage bags that fit the kitchen can. Owner very helpful but contact limited to VRBO messaging. Very nice pool. Parking a little tight. Wouldnot hesitate to stay there again."
