We love Hawaii. The house could be fabulous, with its view and roominess, but it’s taken care of like an afterthought inexpensive rental. The driveway is both steep and narrow. And room at top to turn around car is time consuming especially with a large car.

We were there for some construction work in Kaneohe.
House was built in the 50's, but recently had a major facelift. The first thing you notice is the view. WOW! It doesn't get much better. The view comes with a cost that needs to be understood. The driveway. The driveway is very steep and tight. Parking at the bottom is fairly easy, but with any physical limitations, the walk up would be impossible. There is parking at the top, but I would recommend a SMALL car as the drive curves with lava walls on both sides. In the end, I think it's worth it, but this something to consider.
The 4 bedrooms all have mini A/C systems, so sleeping is not an issue when it's warm and humid. Nice laminate floors throughout.
As with ALL rental homes in Hawaii, you must be aware of the tiny ants. They are a nuisance, but manageable as long as you keep the kitchen clean.
The owner and management company were very quick to respond to the few small issues we had and that was appreciated.
Would I recommend? Yes
Would I stay again? Absolutely
