"Absolutely WONDERFUL stay. House was beautiful and inviting, beds comfortable, and the property was large and wonderfully private. Perfect location for hiking waterfall trails. The only hang-up I encountered was that the room over the garage with the 4 twin beds was not accessible via the house. Upon rechecking the listing, it was included that the room was accessible via spiral staircase, but I did not realize that meant spiral staircase ONLY. You cannot access it from inside. My intent was to have my children share this room but for safety reasons (needing to lock the door at night and potentially not being able to enter in an emergency) we ultimately decided against it. We were, however, able to make good use of the large futon for my oldest and the oversized recliner for my youngest. Both said they were very comfortable and slept well. Overall, my family LOVED our stay and would not hesitate to return. The character and charm of this place has made it one of my absolute favorite spots. "

"The house is beautiful and the views don’t disappoint. They thought of all the possible needs of their guests and had those things in the house. My friends and I came to see a Western Carolina game and we were very close to the school. "
