from the start from when we walked in there was hair on the comforters,gross..... family of 4 and we booked saying family of 4 and it was "THE PURE ROOM" nothing PURE about this room !!! Only 3 towels in the bathroom called 4 times before were brought more towels , asked for 1 more pillow was giving sheets ....called for room service for food gave an order and the kitchen called us 45 mins later asking us what our order was again because they lost the order ..we cancelled and went out to eat ...was going to be way to long before we were to get out order of food ...and I wasn't chancing it because we have some severe allergies and they sounded rushed so was not taking the chance !!! Called to get a menu for the next morning to order Express breakfast never got it ! Definitely will not be staying there again !!! They really need to clean it up & organize themselves .... I have never been so upset to ever leave a bad review ever but unfortunately today I have .this was a 2 night stay only and Thankful was not any longer !!!!

When we first arrive it was a beautiful hotel. Our check-in went very smoothly. And we were very impressed by our room. Until, we realize that the lock had been previously broken into. So we felt unsafe all night knowing that are lock was cracked from the door. And then I went to take a shower and there’s no hot water only a lukewarm temperature.

The hotel needs updating. Elevator floors are broken up. Carpet dirty and old. Our bathroom was not well cleaned, luckily i always bring Lysol spray and wipes. On the other hand, staff are nice. Shout out to Jay the room service guy, he was nice and very helpful. Dedicated to his job. Nice indoor pool with hot tub. Kids enjoyed that. Check in & out process was smooth. Our room was ready early.

Make a reservation at your own risk

Terrible experience at this hotel. Went to check in and I was told there was no room they told me the hotel was booked solid. I gave them a copy of my confirmation and they still told me there was no room available. The reason for my stay at this hotel was for my daughter's wedding. While we were being told there was no room, three other wedding guest we're also checking into the hotel and told they had no room. The hotel informed us it was a very busy weekend. I asked the hotel what was the purpose of making a reservation if they would not honor it. Some of the guest attending my daughters wedding had to share rooms double up wherever they could. Whoever is running this hotel or managing this hotel doesn't know what they are doing. We booked this hotel well over a year ago. During that time we ended up dealing with different hotel staff because of the turnover. We should have realized at that time, with such staff turnover that this hotel is poorly managed.

Rude

The exterior of the hotel, lobby and the dining areas were nice. However, the room wasn't up to par. The bathroom sink didn't allow the water to drain. This should never happen in a hotel at $189 per night. The front desk Manager was rude. I requested to have my transaction credited back to my credit card with a copy of the receipt and she was very short. I decided to pay with cash. While obtaining cash from the ATM, she placed my credit card on the counter in open view and left it there. I will never stay at this hotel again. I visit New York several times a year but I've always stayed in the city. I guess they are rude on Long Island too.

Convenient location for our needs

In the area for a wedding, this was a convenient location for us as all wedding activities were located close by. Comfortable, quiet rooms. We had no complaints.

Security needs improvement

Pros: In view of above, the beauty if useless.
Cons: Security and caring about security by the non security stafff
Location: beautiful views
The room, view and hotel were gorgeous. When we got back to the room after the wedding about 11pm on Saturday night (Room 606) a group of people were having a multiroom "bash" right near us and shouting loudly in the hallway for hours. I couldn't sleep and was also scared bec they didn't sound so nice. I didn't complain bec I was scared and also thought but doubted they might relate to the wedding party. I found out another wedding party guest did actually complain to security around 2 am and perhaps that's why the sounds got less intense after that. However about 5 am someone shouted in the hallway as if they were hurt and I heard 2 bangs which almost sounded like gunshots. When I walked to the elevater the next morning white pills were in several areas on the hallway carpet. I notified the front desk when I checked out. The clerk at the desk just smiled.

Got an excellent price very close to the holidays. Great value!

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet
The facility was very nice. The rooms were great.Only complaint was a lack of Wi Fi. Other then that, two thumbs up!
