"This place was fairly good. The room didn't really look like the picture-there was no couch- but otherwise OK. The pool was really nice. Breakfast buffet was kinda crappy. Poorly laid out, cramped seating. Not much selection and there was no juice."

"We had 3 rooms. All of them were clean. The check in process was easy except for Expedia messing up our reservation from their end to the hotel's end. The property is improving as far as aesthetically and you can tell they are putting in the work. The rooms were clean, had adequate amenities, the a/c worked well and we slept well. We did not get to use the mini golf course because we were too busy doing other things in Galveston. The steps - those things are steep! They also need some work done. There were cracked tile overlays on the steps that could be a tripping hazard. The handrails are wooden which need some attention as well. Otherwise, the location is easy to get to, it was quiet and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly as well. If you're staying the night before your cruise, you can park there while you're cruising and save a ton of money on parking."
